Enjoyed the listen. Of particular interest to me…for a short while after he entered the USA 1949/1950 and before he worked at Zabar’s , Sam Cohen had rented a stand in a store selling smoked fish. It did not succeed . I do not know the particulars but this podcast talked of that methodology as the beginning of Zabar’s (albeit in the 1930’s) , the workplace he loved. Harris L.
