Hi Nora, I have owned an ATTO scooter for 3 years now. The seat does NOT swivel. Armrests are available but purchased separately. In my book, the ATTO is the Rolls Royce of foldable mobility scooters. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
This is obviously an old advert. I live in South Africa but not seen these for sale here and other such scooters are huge, heavy and not at all portable if one lives on one's own - and really really costly. Are these available in Cape Town?
Would have been better to show a heavy person on it ... whatever the maximum weight is ... THAT'S how you really take a product through it's paces because you can see if it ACTUALLY can transport the heavier body type. I am not convinced at all.
I found out if you press the button you get 4 E or a number 1 through 4 and then E a 1 after that it is because someone turned the switch off on the motor. I was getting a 4 E 1 when I press the on. Button! No where do they tell you this in of there information?
we just purchased some bungee chords and a black metal basket from Target; it holds our Inogen oxygen machine and a water bottle, keys etc. fits very excellent under the seat ~ the nylon storage case (made for it) was ridiculously small and expensive

Problem with these companies is the lack of future support, they are always fly by night operations that disappear and your stuck with a broke device never intended to last past a year maybe.
@@jramsey9690 Segway Blumil is about the best made and blows this away but they are too expensive and even Segway is no more. But the parts are pretty standardized at least. I just Wish Elon would make one of these and mass produce them to lower the cost. Nobody else big makes anything for disabled.

The issue is , this video is 3 years old. This unite isn’t the updated model. Pretty expensive for an older unite! When I called the sales person told me this scooter is the latest model. I see now it’s not true!

If its for your parents or someone with any form of weakness, its not a perfect solution to their independence at all. Im young with chronic issues and I wld really need assistance. I dont appreciate the misleading nature of their ads compared to other companies, ppl shld know. But it works great.
Great scooter but not for those who have very limited mobility. You need to bend and pull when readying the scooter for travel. It can be divided into two for lifting and storage. When not divided it is a bit heavy in my book.

How can I keep someone from stealing it if I need to leave it while I go on a ride at Disneyland,or another place? There’s no way to secure it that I can see! I want one to take on a cruise ship , and in port . Will this scooter go up boarding ramps ? Some have a long incline .
That to me is a fault - NO KEY. However you can turn the knob on the front wheel which prevents the wheel from turning. Also removing the battery can help. A solid chain and padlock wrapped around the base then to something else is a good idea.

Try walking at four miles per hour. Mobility scooters are to help replace walking if unable to. They aren't go carts for racing. 4 miles per hour gives you a decent pace to scoot at SAFELY.

Agree with you. I have one myself. A bit of a head turner by other mobility scooter users mainly. The ATTO is in a class of its own.

Considering getting this for my 80 yr old mom so I can take her to places and let her enjoy life.
Make sure you or someone is with her as it would be difficult for her to lift or set up the scooter by herself due to her age.
A three wheeler is not as sturdy as a four, and it dosen’t look as solid!
