Isn't it strange when we get so accustomed to brilliance. As per usual All Stars (Smooth) produced an impressive, complex arrangement which, as per usual, the All Stars players produced a seemingly flawless execution. Brilliance by All Stars is the norm. I humbly suggest that now All Stars has to choose songs that foster an emotional attachment to the audience. As they used to say they have to "Play for de people!" It seems as the emotional attachment offered by Renegades & Exodus for Panorama 2023 that gave them the advantage over All Stars. In fact, I was more impressed with Renegades' Semi--final performance to their Finals offering. It did not matter because Renegades had established already established their emotional attachment with the judges and the audience from Prelims & Semis.
All Stars cannot be beaten in any other way. Once they pick a tune of choice that fosters an emotional attachment for the people they will be on top. Fireworks & other special effects are nice but we won't be hearing or feeling that as much when listen again at a later date. When you capture meh heart and soul....you will have captured more than gold.
Of course when All Stars does that like with Heat, Curry Tabanca, Heavy Roller, Dust in dey face, Rain Melody, Earthquake, Soca Warriors (way to many to mention) and the judges rob them (as per usual) then we can feel confident if not certain, justified if not satisfied, that a higher power would have been served and pleased even when the flawed earthly judges commit yet another injustice. Pan lover for true.
All Stars is quite superior to thej others!
