As well as thinking about Rome (I'm not kidding) I find myself pondering the significance of the One Ring, in Tolkien's mythos. It was like a millstone around Frodo's neck, a burden, a great weight pulling towards the Earth - perhaps alluding to its deeply material nature. We are also told that Sauron poured all his malice and cruelty into it, that is, he put a great deal of his spirit into a material object, which in made him vulnerable to its destruction. Since, when the ring was destroyed, this undid Sauron himself at a fundamental level. So to identify Ahriman, in the world, the analogue of Sauron in this conjecture - we should seek to identify his Ring of Power. So I will offer up "Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation" for the One ring (foundation is something buried in the earth, so embedded in the material), and Bill Gates, for the role of Sauron.
I think you are right about connecting technology to the dangers of the Ring, 'techne' as a tool of domination over others was this kind of enslavement Tolkien actualy (I guess) would've warned us about. IMO BG is more like Saruman though :)

Yes, Steiner's view was that he was to incarnate around 3000ad, however, in more recent anthroposophical circles a stance seems to be that we (perhaps he) have sped things up sufficiently that the incarnation may be more imminent. As well as the incarnation of the anti-christ. Those my hermetic teacher doesn't believe there will be an incarnation of Ahriman. He's a wise man.
Yes, two particular books that are very insightful about this are _Ahriman's Incarnation_ and _Michael's Mission_ , both are compilations of lectures by Rudolf Steiner. And contrary to what the publisher of this video says, Steiner warned that Ahriman would incarnate a human body around the year 3000. So none of us will see this event in this lifetime.

I love Stiener's lectures, and the ways in which my own life, which is one of faith and commitment to the teachings of Christ Jesus, has unfolded, definitely reflect what he has to say, about the development of Ahramanic influence in today's world. I don't trust Elon Musk, and am very wary of Jordan Peters on, though I doubt that either of them are actually he, but more likely parts of the preparatory army. 2 nights ago I attended a large gathering of people, at a prominent Anglican Cathedral, that is situated in a very nice city in England, UK. My ticket and transport were provided by members of family, who bought them in good faith, expecting the concert that we all then expected wo would be party to, to be a well balanced, thoughtful, musically sensitive mixture of traditional Christmas music and song. The venue itself is stunning, the lighting was beautiful and the building was soon packed to the gunnels with people. But what we had expected and hoped for, did not happen there. Instead there was an extremely loud concert, given by a very good band of singers and musicians, who proceeded to beltt out all of the Christmas songs that are being played in the shops during day light hours, Jingle Blells, All I. Want For Christmas Is You, etc, etc. There was but one exception, When A Child Is Born. All of this was done with the statue of Jesus Christ standing directly behind them and above their heads, and though I am not a church goer, I could not but feel my heart cringing at every deafening beat. People stood up to dance in their seats and in the aisles, and brought alcoholic drinks into the space. I'm not a kill joy, neither a prude, but I found the entire thing completely sacriligeous, and it was very evident to my own deeper senses, that all those people who were taken in by the event, were, and are being made complete fools of, a fact which troubles me greatly and surely would have troubled Stiener likewise. Knowing where to look for Ahriman, is not a simple task, and we should all be on the alert for signs of his influence upon ourselves, or else it will come upon us unawares, even as a thief in the night. And as a final kicking home of this message of loud warning, as we walked back towards our vehicle after it was over, the same Christmas songs could be loudly heard on the street, as we passed by a public house where there was live entertainment happening! Just would like to tell you that you are right, neither Peterson nor Musk can be Ahriman, because Steiner clearly stated that Ahriman will incarnate a human body around the year 3000. His influence is growing stronger, but we're still quite far away from witnessing this event. I highly recommend reading _Ahriman's Incarnation_ and _Michael's Mission_ , both by Steiner.
Another set of books worth reading is C.S.Lewis's "The Space Trilogy, and in particular the last book, That Hideous Strength. The university elites and their technocrat servants resurrect Merlin the Magician via high science to complete their evil schemes for world domination. It's a bit tedious with the settings and language, but only Lewis could weave such a tale with its unlikely...and humorous ending. It gives one hope in light of current events. Enjoy!
Steiner's statements did not tie down a particular date - just early in the third millennium. Indications by Steiner about the sequence of archangels as time spirits suggest that just as Christ came during the reign of Oriphiel, that Ahriman would also choose to incarnate when Michael's reign is over. The characteristics of Oriphiel would be much more useful to Ahriman's purposes. That would be around 2233. By that time, brain-computer interfaces would have become as commonplace as pacemakers are today. Likely, many by then would consider removing their natural limbs for prostheses so that they need not 'waste time' with workouts for health.

Thank you for pointing this very subject out like you do, not much is found about this, and I like your honest interpretation of it. Personally, I too think that overcoming challenges and issues is a much better and smoother way to go about it than to trying to either deceive it or fight it tooth and nails. I think the ultimate point of the tale is that we must deceive Ahriman, who wants to deceive people (and destroy them). In other words, in doing business with him, the positive benefits of technical knowledge must be readily accepted, but society, law, and art must be brought back to an openly sacred spirit. We do not give for convenience etc. in return our essence. If we act in this way, we will deceive Ahriman. We take what he give, but we don't give he what he want. In practice, as a first step, this perhaps means that all thinkers, artists, scientists, politicians and movements that were and are connected to empiricism and materialism must be criticized. The desacralizing, therefore dehumanizing element in the way of thinking of the thinkers, artists, scientists, and politicians involved must be pointed out. We have to learn about them and we shouldn't suppress or attack them, we just have to go as far as exposing them and will oppose the opposite, i.e. the sacred. It is clear that the vast majority of the thinkers involved attacked the human essence out of good intentions and carelessness, because they saw the human contingency suppressed by the essence, and thus the essence appeared to them as tyranny. The essence in a tyrannical role is sad, but the contingency in a tyrannical role is laughable. (If Lucifer was incarnated in an Asian body, as Steiner teaches, if Sorath is incarnated in a Middle Eastern body just like Jesus Christ (at least he will be born there), then Ahriman will either be white or black. Certain signs strongly suggest that it will be more black. (Maybe a black woman.) His personality must should be the opposite of Lucifer, i.e. he will not be a domineering, vain, self-indulgent figure. (Musk is removed from all kinds of lists, since he is a vain figure, rather a Luciferian phenomenon in his personality.) If Lucifer acted and lived as an emperor, it is certain that Ahriman will not act and live as such.)
Good point. I also doubt it being Elon Musk. Ahriman would likely work behind the scenes. I was potentially considering Obama at some point, as he may still have a big influence on Biden. His use of drones to assassinate people, he worked from the shadows. I'm most likely wrong. There probably are many other candidates.
I would like to think that Ahriman isn’t simply one being, but a being. There is a vast difference in not only attaching that being to one man or woman, but more like a force of energy that right now has an advantage so to speak. Just like we balance ourselves from luciferic to ahrimanic energies, so it does on higher and lover levels of existence. As above, so below.
I think it's very important to be very accurate when talking about such important spiritual matters. Steiner clearly states in the lectures contained in the book _Ahriman's Incarnation_ that Ahriman will incarnate a human body around the year 3000. I don't deny that there are many personalities who seem to be very influenced by Ahriman, but if we are to listen to what Steiner said, none of them are it.
Certainly after listening to Steiner if you follow the Christian service words you suddenly realise there is much more to what the sermons refer to. People today turn their back on church but when you realise the huge significance of Steiners teachings and these ancient words you feel the magic and majesty because it all fits into place. Example midnight mass was actually an ancient mass done before Christ came to earth. I attended and when you hear in the sermon “tonight is when the earth plain meets the spirit world you realise wow there is so much more to these ancient services
I thought according to Steiner Lucifer had a physical embodiment about 3000 BC in Asia and Arhiman would incarnate in the West around 3000 years after Christ. I don’t have the feeling that Elon is that incarnation but the Arhimanic impulse is super strong in him for sure.

I think ahriman is actually both sauron and Saruman. He was banish. But gaining in power as the world aged. He now realized his vision to destroy the world of men. I don’t know enough about Ahriman and his difference from Satan. I think we would have to compare them to Melkior/Morgoth and Sauron. What’s for sure is that Melkior is he who arises in might, and technology is power-bringing/bearing. We see the same technolatrous principle/prince at work.
I think Steiner refers to Ahriman as Satan. But in America I think, when people often think of Satanic activities, they may in fact be thinking of Sorat(h). He is the one connected to abominations of the human body, for example human sacrifice, murder, rape. This is what I seem to understand. Ahriman is highly connected with materialism, fear and greed. Lucifer is connected to escapism and things like hallucinogenic drugs.

I'll share my own musings, not necessarily Steiners. To me, collectivism is essentially putting the perceived needs of a group of people before the needs of the individuals within said group, usually in a top-down tyrannical manner. You could argue that this leads to bad outcomes because a group is made of individuals who all have different needs, so no one wins being made into a part of that group. However, people can be deluded into thinking they are just a part of a group and start acting, thinking, and speaking like those around them. This squashes their unique capacities and potential for contribution. Part of why Ahriman wants this is that the group - the hive mind - is easier to control. But he is also the force that pulls things together materially whilst separating them from spirit - envasing souls in matter. Cybernetics is an expression of this.

One thing tht seems to relate is the ring and that the planet Saturn also has rings and has been talked about as being dark. I do like musk and Peterson as well and have been following the details of the ark, I am hoping the arc would be good tho since it's the only movement I've heard of tht is being started and something must happen very soon as it all being set up right before our eyes and most of the world is still blind to any of it. @@purposeinaction11 The spirit of ahriman which is at play in the world and like you said is one of the forces influencing our humanity/soul. I don't know the difference between soul and spirit that well, but i have the idea that what make human's unique in the spiritual realm is that we are a soul or have a soul. And that this is not the case for all beings which would only be spirit or mental. To me humans seem to play a key role in the development of consciousness, like our soul is the place where unity and individuality merge, the cosmos inside our soul. For me that would explain a bit better why spiritual forces like lucifer and ahriman are so interested in human beings, because the want to tap into our souls to manifest and create like God does. So to keep it short, i don't think ahriman has a soul that incarnates into AGI. But i do get the feeling that his spirit does, in my mind it would be the perfect host for a being so focused on materialisme and physicality. So it could also be a human being that will represent ahriman and ahriman will then take control of that soul and use it as vehicle. In that case the soul need to align i think in the right way for that possibility. Like how steiner talks about the incarnation of lucifer in asia and Christ in jesus. Those people seem to have been normal human being with souls before something spiritual transformed them. That's the impression i get from reading it. But AGI would i think be a much better candidate for ahriman because it will then also be able to preserve it's self indefinitely which seems fitting. Until Christ intervenes and transforms it into something for the good. A bible verse that i did not understand for a long time but becomes more clear and clear on this topic is: 1 Corinthians 6:3 "Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?" Still learning, but i'm getting the impression that our human soul made in the image of God is playing a central role in this cosmos somehow. :)

Transhumanism is an attempt to move towards what an ahrimaic being would be. AI cannot experience love and wualities that flow from love. God is love. What experiences love is the soul. The aspect or drop of us that is beyond materiality and is love/gods creation. Each being has to reconnect/find their soul themself...
Some believe (and I belong to this group) that Ahriman is not just in one person, but rather an evil agenda that different people work on jointly. When you think of all those people we suspect to be of Ahrimanic nature it just makes sense.
It is simple really. You have the Ying and Yang of duality, then you have the flesh battling with the conflicting duality. Or Ahriman and Lucifer, the Light and the Dark and the body of Christ which is ourselves. It is the story of stories, it is basically every religion ever created described in different ways. All you need to know is you are the universe experiencing itself, read into reality how you want, it is all your choice. There is no good or bad, just choice and reality.

To those who study history, philosophy, and mythology to the extent that Tolkien did, the underlying patterns of reality reveal themselves. He applied this wisdom to his great work - LoTR. A consolidated mythology for Britain (and by extension, those countries who can claim heritage from it). An understanding of these underlying patterns also enables one - to whatever degree its possible to do so - make predictions about the future. So I take Tolkien's work as both education about a part of my heritage as well as warning/preparation for the future of my nation.
Yes i follow Anthroposophy, Gigi Young teaches it in understandable terms, i find Rudolf a bit hard to understand, i think she said Ahriman is not due t incarnate until 3,500AD but she sometimes changes her mind or i got it wrong, people are so materialistic that they have no concept of a soul or spirituality whereas in previous epochs it was very obvious to people we had a soul, thanks😂😂😂❤❤❤
Around 5:00' he says that Buddhism 'denies anything beyond the material world'. That is not so. Buddhism is if anything a pathway which acknowledges an existence after death, and before birth, in the spiritual realms. In its very early phase, it did not say clearly whether the individual self, or 'I' exists as an individuality. There was always a stress on the idea that what most people think is their own 'self' is illusory, as they are in the web the illusions or delusions that abound during physical incarnation, and this has to woken up from. Later forms in Tibet imply that the 'I' does exist after death and does not merely merge into a 'cloud'. Like Christianity, it continued to evolve as human beings continued to experience different kinds of consciousness during physical existence and through different civilisations.

Perhaps the Buddhist you're referring to are Ahriman-influenced, I don't know, but the Buddha very much taught that the mundane world was not ultimate reality and that we are not the limited beings we think we are. I doubt you'll find a serious Buddhist who denies reincarnation, for instance. So I'm a little stunned to hear this claim made against Buddhism, seems to show a lack of understanding of eastern philosophies, which is sadly typical in Western philosophies. If you're curious, there's a good reason Buddhism generally doesn't make explicit its supernatural teachings and complex descriptions of other worlds and higher and lowers beings. It's because the Buddha didn't want miraculous or invisible things to distract the mind of his lesser-developed disciples and get distracted in concepts and phenomenon. This is also true of the yogic path in general. These deep, yogic teachings focus on going beyond conceptual things like cosmology and metaphysics, but they do not deny them. Western philosophers who take external phenomenon to be "real" often misinterpret the eastern path's discouragement of openly discussing cosmology and metaphysics as denial of them, when in fact they are just not emphasized because they are seen as distraction from the goal of transcending the mind itself.

Yes, Steiner's view was that he was to incarnate around 3000ad, however, in more recent anthroposophical circles a stance seems to be that we (perhaps he) have sped things up sufficiently that the incarnation may be more imminent. As well as the incarnation of the anti-christ. Those my hermetic teacher doesn't believe there will be an incarnation of Ahriman. He's a wise man.

Yes, two particular books that are very insightful about this are _Ahriman's Incarnation_ and _Michael's Mission_ , both are compilations of lectures by Rudolf Steiner. And contrary to what the publisher of this video says, Steiner warned that Ahriman would incarnate a human body around the year 3000. So none of us will see this event in this lifetime.

I love Stiener's lectures, and the ways in which my own life, which is one of faith and commitment to the teachings of Christ Jesus, has unfolded, definitely reflect what he has to say, about the development of Ahramanic influence in today's world. I don't trust Elon Musk, and am very wary of Jordan Peters on, though I doubt that either of them are actually he, but more likely parts of the preparatory army. 2 nights ago I attended a large gathering of people, at a prominent Anglican Cathedral, that is situated in a very nice city in England, UK. My ticket and transport were provided by members of family, who bought them in good faith, expecting the concert that we all then expected wo would be party to, to be a well balanced, thoughtful, musically sensitive mixture of traditional Christmas music and song.
The venue itself is stunning, the lighting was beautiful and the building was soon packed to the gunnels with people.
But what we had expected and hoped for, did not happen there. Instead there was an extremely loud concert, given by a very good band of singers and musicians, who proceeded to beltt out all of the Christmas songs that are being played in the shops during day light hours, Jingle Blells, All I. Want For Christmas Is You, etc, etc. There was but one exception, When A Child Is Born. All of this was done with the statue of Jesus Christ standing directly behind them and above their heads, and though I am not a church goer, I could not but feel my heart cringing at every deafening beat. People stood up to dance in their seats and in the aisles, and brought alcoholic drinks into the space. I'm not a kill joy, neither a prude, but I found the entire thing completely sacriligeous, and it was very evident to my own deeper senses, that all those people who were taken in by the event, were, and are being made complete fools of, a fact which troubles me greatly and surely would have troubled Stiener likewise. Knowing where to look for Ahriman, is not a simple task, and we should all be on the alert for signs of his influence upon ourselves, or else it will come upon us unawares, even as a thief in the night. And as a final kicking home of this message of loud warning, as we walked back towards our vehicle after it was over, the same Christmas songs could be loudly heard on the street, as we passed by a public house where there was live entertainment happening!

Just would like to tell you that you are right, neither Peterson nor Musk can be Ahriman, because Steiner clearly stated that Ahriman will incarnate a human body around the year 3000. His influence is growing stronger, but we're still quite far away from witnessing this event.
I highly recommend reading _Ahriman's Incarnation_ and _Michael's Mission_ , both by Steiner.
Another set of books worth reading is C.S.Lewis's "The Space Trilogy, and in particular the last book, That Hideous Strength.

Indications by Steiner about the sequence of archangels as time spirits suggest that just as Christ came during the reign of Oriphiel, that Ahriman would also choose to incarnate when Michael's reign is over. The characteristics of Oriphiel would be much more useful to Ahriman's purposes. That would be around 2233. By that time, brain-computer interfaces would have become as commonplace as pacemakers are today. Likely, many by then would consider removing their natural limbs for prostheses so that they need not 'waste time' with workouts for health.

I think the ultimate point of the tale is that we must deceive Ahriman, who wants to deceive people (and destroy them). In other words, in doing business with him, the positive benefits of technical knowledge must be readily accepted, but society, law, and art must be brought back to an openly sacred spirit. We do not give for convenience etc. in return our essence. If we act in this way, we will deceive Ahriman. We take what he give, but we don't give he what he want. In practice, as a first step, this perhaps means that all thinkers, artists, scientists, politicians and movements that were and are connected to empiricism and materialism must be criticized. The desacralizing, therefore dehumanizing element in the way of thinking of the thinkers, artists, scientists, and politicians involved must be pointed out. We have to learn about them and we shouldn't suppress or attack them, we just have to go as far as exposing them and will oppose the opposite, i.e. the sacred. It is clear that the vast majority of the thinkers involved attacked the human essence out of good intentions and carelessness, because they saw the human contingency suppressed by the essence, and thus the essence appeared to them as tyranny. The essence in a tyrannical role is sad, but the contingency in a tyrannical role is laughable.
(If Lucifer was incarnated in an Asian body, as Steiner teaches, if Sorath is incarnated in a Middle Eastern body just like Jesus Christ (at least he will be born there), then Ahriman will either be white or black. Certain signs strongly suggest that it will be more black. (Maybe a black woman.) His personality must should be the opposite of Lucifer, i.e. he will not be a domineering, vain, self-indulgent figure. (Musk is removed from all kinds of lists, since he is a vain figure, rather a Luciferian phenomenon in his personality.) If Lucifer acted and lived as an emperor, it is certain that Ahriman will not act and live as such.)
Good point. I also doubt it being Elon Musk. Ahriman would likely work behind the scenes. I was potentially considering Obama at some point, as he may still have a big influence on Biden. I would like to think that Ahriman isn’t simply one being, but a being. There is a vast difference in not only attaching that being to one man or woman, but more like a force of energy that right now has an advantage so to speak. I think it's very important to be very accurate when talking about such important spiritual matters. Steiner clearly states in the lectures contained in the book _Ahriman's Incarnation_ that Ahriman will incarnate a human body around the year 3000. I don't deny that there are many personalities who seem to be very influenced by Ahriman, but if we are to listen to what Steiner said, none of them are it.

People today turn their back on church but when you realise the huge significance of Steiners teachings and these ancient words you feel the magic and majesty because it all fits into place. As for you’re final question, I’ll think about it. I don’t know enough about Ahriman and his difference from Satan. I think we would have to compare them to Melkior/Morgoth and Sauron. What’s for sure is that Melkior is he who arises in might, and technology is power-bringing/bearing. We see the same technolatrous principle/prince at work.
I think Steiner refers to Ahriman as Satan. But in America I think, when people often think of Satanic activities, they may in fact be thinking of Sorat(h). He is the one connected to abominations of the human body, for example human sacrifice, murder, rape. This is what I seem to understand. Ahriman is highly connected with materialism, fear and greed. Lucifer is connected to escapism and things like hallucinogenic drugs.

I'll share my own musings, not necessarily Steiners.
To me, collectivism is essentially putting the perceived needs of a group of people before the needs of the individuals within said group, usually in a top-down tyrannical manner. You could argue that this leads to bad outcomes because a group is made of individuals who all have different needs, so no one wins being made into a part of that group. However, people can be deluded into thinking they are just a part of a group and start acting, thinking, and speaking like those around them. This squashes their unique capacities and potential for contribution.
Part of why Ahriman wants this is that the group - the hive mind - is easier to control. But he is also the force that pulls things together materially whilst separating them from spirit - envasing souls in matter. Cybernetics is an expression of this.

One thing tht seems to relate is the ring and that the planet Saturn also has rings and has been talked about as being dark. I do like musk and Peterson as well and have been following the details of the ark, I am hoping the arc would be good tho since it's the only movement I've heard of tht is being started and something must happen very soon as it all being set up right before our eyes and most of the world is still blind to any of it. But it's good to hear people like you speak about it and I will keep listening.
I'm less convinced Arc is the way forward now. It may buy some time, by - possibly - slowing down the "other side". But we need new leaders to rise. That's what I'm working on.

@@purposeinaction11 The spirit of ahriman which is at play in the world and like you said is one of the forces influencing our humanity/soul. I don't know the difference between soul and spirit that well, but i have the idea that what make human's unique in the spiritual realm is that we are a soul or have a soul. And that this is not the case for all beings which would only be spirit or mental. To me humans seem to play a key role in the development of consciousness, like our soul is the place where unity and individuality merge, the cosmos inside our soul. For me that would explain a bit better why spiritual forces like lucifer and ahriman are so interested in human beings, because the want to tap into our souls to manifest and create like God does.
So to keep it short, i don't think ahriman has a soul that incarnates into AGI. But i do get the feeling that his spirit does, in my mind it would be the perfect host for a being so focused on materialisme and physicality.
So it could also be a human being that will represent ahriman and ahriman will then take control of that soul and use it as vehicle. In that case the soul need to align i think in the right way for that possibility. Like how steiner talks about the incarnation of lucifer in asia and Christ in jesus. Those people seem to have been normal human being with souls before something spiritual transformed them. That's the impression i get from reading it. But AGI would i think be a much better candidate for ahriman because it will then also be able to preserve it's self indefinitely which seems fitting. Until Christ intervenes and transforms it into something for the good.

Transhumanism is an attempt to move towards what an ahrimaic being would be. AI cannot experience love and wualities that flow from love. God is love. What experiences love is the soul. The aspect or drop of us that is beyond materiality and is love/gods creation. Each being has to reconnect/find their soul themself...

To those who study history, philosophy, and mythology to the extent that Tolkien did, the underlying patterns of reality reveal themselves. He applied this wisdom to his great work - LoTR. A consolidated mythology for Britain (and by extension, those countries who can claim heritage from it). An understanding of these underlying patterns also enables one - to whatever degree its possible to do so - make predictions about the future. So I take Tolkien's work as both education about a part of my heritage as well as warning/preparation for the future of my nation.

There was always a stress on the idea that what most people think is their own 'self' is illusory, as they are in the web the illusions or delusions that abound during physical incarnation, and this has to woken up from. Later forms in Tibet imply that the 'I' does exist after death and does not merely merge into a 'cloud'. Like Christianity, it continued to evolve as human beings continued to experience different kinds of consciousness during physical existence and through different civilisations.

Perhaps the Buddhist you're referring to are Ahriman-influenced, I don't know, but the Buddha very much taught that the mundane world was not ultimate reality and that we are not the limited beings we think we are. I doubt you'll find a serious Buddhist who denies reincarnation, for instance. So I'm a little stunned to hear this claim made against Buddhism, seems to show a lack of understanding of eastern philosophies, which is sadly typical in Western philosophies.
If you're curious, there's a good reason Buddhism generally doesn't make explicit its supernatural teachings and complex descriptions of other worlds and higher and lowers beings. It's because the Buddha didn't want miraculous or invisible things to distract the mind of his lesser-developed disciples and get distracted in concepts and phenomenon. This is also true of the yogic path in general.
These deep, yogic teachings focus on going beyond conceptual things like cosmology and metaphysics, but they do not deny them. Western philosophers who take external phenomenon to be "real" often misinterpret the eastern path's discouragement of openly discussing cosmology and metaphysics as denial of them, when in fact they are just not emphasized because they are seen as distraction from the goal of transcending the mind itself.
