  • In this week’s podcast, Sally Hsu is speaking with registered architect Qianyi Lim who is a Director of Sibling Architecture, a research-based practice with studios across Naarm, Melbourne and Eora Country, Sydney. Qianyi is working across a range of civic, cultural and residential projects in NSW, including the recently completed South East Centre for Contemporary Art , Darling St adaptive reuse apartments and Dixon St Chinatown. She is also an architectural educator and critic, where she is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Sydney and a member of the NSW State Design Review Panel. In 2022, Qianyi was the recipient of the NSW Emerging Architect Prize and Wilkinson Award for architecture. Qianyi and Sally discuss how Sibling was established, how Sibling works across a variety of architecture typologies as well and exhibition design and research, and Qianyi shares some advice about navigating the architecture profession as an emerging architect.
