Elin, you PHD was not in vain. Your education and professionalism show up so distinctly in the content and delivery of your videos.
    Keep up the great work.
    I appreciate you.

I agree. I have a degree in nursing and I have used it throughout my life to enhance my relationships and caregiving, even though I have only been gainfully employed for a year. Education is a resource that we use in many ways. It helps enhance who we are.

Agree! Your education and experience are part of the journey that led you here in the first place. Embrace it and lean into it. It must inform your sensibilities and adds even more credibility to your sage advice, which I find to be spot on. I always enjoy your videos.

I would argue that you DO use your degree on this channel. Your tone is gentle, like during therapy. You use your knowledge to help us feel better in our own skin. You are a therapist, it just looks different from the normal application. I’m so happy that I have met you (online, of course). My prayers are with you during your illness and your fertility struggles. Hugs!!

Thank you so much for your comment about night owls. I feel like we get such a bad rap. I love being up later and getting things done when the rest of my family are in bed. I also love having the reward of bed when ive finished getting things done for the night. And the thought of waking up really early in the morning just stresses me out. I don't want to be awake at 6am, knowing i have to leave for work at 7:40 and just having that hanging over me. Id just rather get up at 7, and do what i need to do to get out the door. I also liked your comment about not doing something long term because you invested in it. I did a teaching diploma but at the end i decided i didn't want to teach. Im still glad i did the course because it's impacted my approach to life in a positive way and i do do some teaching in a way. You're totally using your qualifications and by being online you're probably reaching so many more people!

Oh my goodness! I feel like you are wise beyond your years! I am 60 and I'm just realizing some of the things you taught.

I really liked this video. Some very thoughtful ways to simplify life. I've recently simplified my own life by terminating my online car insurance and replacing with a good old fashioned high street broker. The service was fantastic; I got to deal with a real human being; no waiting on the phone for half an hour, diverted to the wrong department and then cut off; no password needed; and an excellent price. I plan to go "offline" as much as possible now. I think digital everything is overrated; and many online companies have became extremely sloppy with their customer service.

Great tips! I feel you on the not being afraid to ask questions, especially in a medical situation. Now a days you need to become an expert and really advocate for yourself! Especially with infertility. It’s just acronym after acronym and cookie cutter protocols with seemingly no one ever looking at your chart and trying to figure things out!

Thank you so very much for this video. I feel like you were talking to me and so many others that needed to hear “it’s okay to take a leap” and “it’s okay to slow down.”

I really enjoyed this video - thank you! Its a nice reminder to hear many of the insights you share synthesized into one video. As someone in my 30’s living with an autoimmune disease and always trying to simplify and create the most fulfilling life for me and my family, its very relatable to hear about your journey. Thank you for sharing your story and such helpful ideas!

Some of the things you have listed are about culture. There are many cultures in the world that are hardworking, productive and at the same time enjoy life, family and friendship.

Hello Elin. I am new to your channel and I absolutely love it. It's been such a motivator for me. I want to declutter my home, but I also have hoarding tendencies. 😮 You suggest things that no other channel do. An example...concentrate on what you want to keep, instead of what you want to get rid of. You have said you live in Minnesota. Where, if I may ask? I ask because I live in Duluth! Take care. Keep up the great work! ❤

You know, actually professional house cleaning in my opinion is something worth paying for? I have a very complex personal and family situation and if I had more money that would be the first thing I would pay for, just bc it frees up so much time to focus on your work or other things you like better...

Please stop, if this is a minimizing video say that if this is an ad to sell me beauty products I don’t need don’t waste my time. I normally enjoy your videos but this just irritated me today.
