To think that this Anambra cabal was what Peter Obi went up against and conquered...

    • @tochukwuokeke5348
      @tochukwuokeke5348 Місяць тому +35

It was not easy. That’s why Igbos nicknamed him Okwute (Stone), the man has low tone voice but he is very stubborn in his right. When they tried to impeach him and it didn’t work, they terrorized the state with thugs & cultists, but Peter matched them fire for fire bullet for bullet. They ran. Obi made the people realize that these terrorists are humans and inferior, they are only powerful if you don’t fight back, he instituted whistleblower reward system, created Armed vigilantes. All it took was for someone to point or call a name. Something like what the present president of El Salvador is doing. There were collateral damage, there were wrong identifications but generally He won, they gave up and just had to wait him out. I respect him a lot.

Jude, this video on the deep-rooted influence of godfatherism and cabal in Nigeria's political landscape is both enlightening and a wake-up call. The illustrations of Oyo and Anambra states brilliantly shows how godfatherism shapes political destinies and affects governance and development. It’s alarming and equally depressing to see how influential figures can hold entire states and leaders under their thumb, prioritizing power over progress.
Good work!!! As more voices like yours continue to spotlight these issues, I’m hopeful we’ll inspire the younger generation to push for transparency and accountability. Let’s keep this conversation alive.....Nigeria’s future depends on it!

I Was Born and Raised in Ibadan, the Capital of the Old Western Region and Present Oyo State and I witnessed all that are said about the Very Elderly Political Thug and Rigging Machine of Southwest Politicians, Called Baba Adedibu Whose Seat of Power and Residence Was at the Part of Ibadan Called Molete Where I lived then..... Nigeria as a Country Got Rotten Long time Ago and Not Just today. These Reckless Impositions of Gang of Thieves Masquerading as Politicians into Positions of Power is the Cause of all Political and Economic Problems in the Country and this madness looks already institutionalized.

Honestly, these your videos should be part of a mandatory national history curriculum for this country. When you've tackled Nigeria, then move to West Africa, then ultimately the African continent, it will be amazing to see you start producing deep dives into things such as the slave trade and the Haitians who were the first Africans to gain liberation from slavery. Current history does all these topics a terrible disservice as they are written from the colonizers perspective. Someone with your skill could bring us this lost history from the African perspective which will open many eyes. Chai, young man, very well done.

This Godfatherism is a result of greedy and insatiable humans who have all the wealth they've dreamed of but are still unwilling to let go.
If only some of the Godfathers could have good intentions to develop their dominated states into a great one, it's more effective to be a Godfather to a state that works, than one that's broken.
Godfatherism is terrible, can't be justified. But citizens won't mind it, if they're able to enjoy the relevant amenities and safety that should be guaranteed to them in their homelands

Mr Jude Bela. Your channel is an absolute marvel. This expose is very interesting but also incomplete. We should also tell the story about how Tinubu made sure Ambode didn’t run for a second term because he wasn’t a loyal servant to our present president. If Governor Ambode was able to win that battle of supremacy which I know I know for a fact that he could never win. Tinubu probably wouldn’t be President today because if he didn’t have hes Governor is he’s pocket other APC governors who brought him to power would have second thoughts. Please always complete your stories even the people in Aso Rock would marvel at the audacity. You are not doing anything wrong. You are a national treasure. Have no fear. Nigeria is suppose to belong to Nigerians, if only Nigeria was actually a country, but unfortunately Nigeria is not a country, Nigeria is an enterprise that sadly belong to some few crooks.
Until Nigerians realized that they actually have the power in their hands to turn things around, we will continue to see people like Wike, Akpabio, Oshiomhole, and of course the drug lord himself Tinubu.

The land of Nigeria should belong to the people.
However, the state of Nigeria was NEVER established for the ordinary people. It was set up as a Corporation for Britian to exploit the land by empowering a cabal who manage the country on their behalf.
The land and the State are not the same thing. Nigeria is functioning as it was designed to.

@@JK-vp6po well said, people did not realise Nigeria was established as company. This is one of the issue from the start.

It all still boils down to the lack of education. The thugs used to make all of these happen would not have been available in the first place if they had all been well-educated and had better things to do with their lives. If the Nigerian government fixes education in Nigeria, half of our problems will be eliminated from the next generation.

So is it Nigeria government that are using lack of education to their own advantage will be the one to fixes it ?

Money /Survival is a bigger reason
Some of these people were cultist students in Nigerian Universities before their involvement in politics e.g. Sugar

@@AHMEDAHMED-zamani it is a continuous cycle. The higher the cost of EDUCATION, the more out of school illiterates (that can be used as political tools) are produced. Those illiterates will in turn not be able to send their own children to school and their children become thugs for the politician's children. The higher the margin between the upper and lower class, the worse it becomes.

You are doing a good job of awareness creation. God fatherism can never be a healthy practice to the goals and needs of the state, country and the people.
The economic interest invested in is too gain oriented and personal. The government house is the wrong place to invest in shares for business.
Continue the good work. Somehow something positive is being made to register in people's minds from this awareness to spark commensurate intended actions in the fullness of time.
    Thank you.

Every politician on earth is beholden to the special interests that funded his or her campaign. Kingmakers exist in every country in the world. This is a fundamental aspect of the "democratic" system. You can call them an action pac or political contributors, lobbyists, lobby groups or any name you want. It is the same everywhere.. the US, the UK, everywhere that politicians raise money in order to campaign for office.
