Congratulations on your matches!!! I work at a teaching hospital, and understand just how important/stressful this can be. Glad you’re feeling better! TFS…Lorie 😊
Congratulations on your match! As a makeup loving, soon- to- be doctor, it would be great to hear your thoughts about using pigments near the eye. I’ve read the official stuff, the opinions of non- makeup- loving health care providers, and the opinions of makeup lovers who lack medical training, so it would be great to have your thoughts about whether they are okay in general or only for people in some categories ( eg, without some conditions) Thanks and best of luck in your residency!
Thank you so much! So I personally use pressed pigments as eyeshadows all the time and I've never had a problem, BUT I've never had any sensitivity to any pigments in the past. I know some people have had a lot of irritation and inflammation in the eye area from using pigments (usually reds and purples), but it really varies from person to person. But most of the time and for most people, it's totally fine! If you're worried about having any kind of reaction, patch testing is a good idea.
How exciting!! Congrats Maddie!
Congratulations! That’s so exciting!
Congratulations on your accomplishments!
