  • On today’s adventure I head offshore from Sydneys eastern suburbs fishing for a 7 hour session hunting Snapper and other reef species using fresh human grade sardines aka pilchard as bait. Discovered a new ledge using C-Map reveal and found the fish.
    Enjoy ♥

    Recently found your channel when looking for help finding squid at kurnell. I've been a couple of times now in my kayak but haven't been able to get anything. You've been the only fishing channel i bother watching. Everyone else is so unrealistic, trying to be overly funny. Screaming every 10 seconds. All the overdone 5 minute cinematic clips. You're just being yourself and it's honestly so refreshing to watch. I wish i had a boat fml.

    Condolences on your loss Mel, loosing a loved one is always very hard even when you know it is coming and expected, life is like that! Another great video that again demonstrates the highs and lows of fishing but with the added bonus of distracting yourself at a difficult time, best wishes from my daughters, my wife and myself. Take care and we will see you on the water😢

    MEL you need to run 50+ metres of your line on your old reel behind your boat to straighten out your loops.. and then rewind back on. Good to see you set your rods before leaving the ramp..

    You need to find the sand edges of the reef that where the snapper will be

    • @spikesfishing
      @spikesfishing  4 місяці тому

      I will try that for sure next time, there was this bommie where I was fishing and it was sand on the drop off where there was flatty, I might take your advice and fish that decline edge more and see if I can find the snapper. Thanks for watching and for the tip 😍♥️
