Yes people of France realize what Biden said; 1775-76 Great Britain occupied parts of eastern US and controlled taxes etc. The People of United States fought for their freedom and France was there. France occupied southern states such as Louisiana, Mississippi and many places up the Mississippi river. In-fact it was a French explorer which traversed the river all the way up into Canada in the 1680s.
The roots of France and America are blood deep, they are genetic deep in United States and Canada.
