How to Cook Yummy Paksiw na Pata - Stewed Pork Leg recipe is cooked in vinegar & soy sauce in Filipino style, its very appetizing. We love this version, hope you'll love it too. Bon appetit. All ingredients are optional, modify as per your liking. Take everything in moderation. "Health is Wealth".
How to Cook Yummy Paksiw na Pata
Ingredients:
1. Parboil Pork Leg
Water - enough to submerge ingredients
2 tsp - salt
1 tbsp - cooking wine
1100 grams - Pork Leg
2. Saute | Simmer
3 tbsp - olive oil
1/3 cup - garlic
1 cup - shallots
***parboiled Pork Legs
1/2 to 2/3 cup - vinegar
1/4 cup - dark soy sauce
3 pcs - bay leaves
1 tbsp - black peppercorns
3 cups - water
3 pcs - spicy chilis
40 grams - lily buds or banana blossom (soaked in water)
1 tsp - chicken powder
1 tbsp - sugar
1 tsp - liquid seasoning
1 pc - green chili
garnish with 3 pcs - spicy chilis
Cooking Time: approximately 2 hours, depending on the quality of meat
