If people have read the original novel PARIZAD , they would have known why it was necessary to have a dark skinned for this role/ character. Infact, PARIZAD, who when growing up and was enduring taunts for being too dark, also suffered from Small Pox, which made his life more miserable and made him a shy, introvert always looking where he can hide him self from people around him . people need to be told about this !!!!

Norman Ijaz has definitely played a superb role along with Ahmad Ali Akbar…both of them have played brilliantly..Mr Ijaz played as a dawn ,wealthy,beautiful wife ,beautiful location,..financially very well off….where as Ahmad Ali Akbar played a right under privilege young man ..struggling to cope and adopt once the money comes his way …both of them have been superb actors
The reason why this is so successful is because it’s close to reality and that’s relatable to majority of world. These types stories/plays should be brought more to tv instead of showing the same old washed down love stories that repeating like broken records.
