The algorithm always holds tasks that I have ready to complete until after I do it. I’ve tested it with the renovations and bushes. Waited and waited and waited to get those tasks. As soon as I gift bushes or do renovations I get those tasks. Super annoying when you have a strategy but the game doesn’t allow you to do that.
Me, too, I actually wrote tech support about that, they say it’ll totally random. Uh, no statistically there is no way it would “randomly” happen as consistently as it does, which then leads to paying to skip help wanted. I have paid to skip the help wanted only to get the exact same help wanted, or a different one, then back to the one I just paid to skip. They basically call me a liar, they insist it “never” happened, they checked my game and I am wrong 😑
barb king you’re totally right it’s not random. I tested for today’s DN too. I have jack ready to fly out, renovations ready, coins in my manor, and two buildings to take me to the next level, and haven’t gifted bushes all day and I’ve gotten every other task BUT those and I’ve cleared all the tasks multiple times and skipped one already.
Yep. Nothing is random. Even the stars will take longer to fill, even if you get all perfects, if you have a large amount of energy.
Forcing you to use up all your energy on one level.
And after 2 months...they still hold back tasks until AFTER you've cashed them in. It's extremely frustrating.

I saw a tip on FB that you should let your coffee tips sit there until you have the task to collect tips. I did this and racked up over 1,000 in tips before I got the task! But it was worth the wait. I'm glad the coffee tip prizes are less expensive now.
Yes, I do that, too. Leave my tips sitting there until a task says to collect some. I also let the Estate coins build up to 60 and leave them sitting there. I find most often, the task only requires 45 coins, so it is an instant reward. If it requires 100, then I am already over half way there!
Here's what I like to do:
*Don't collect coins until an Estate task comes up
*Don't collect all coffees straightaway at meeting time if you are playing the regular game and working towards HW tasks at coffee time. Keep a few up there until the final minutes. You actually may help your fellow players achieve a tip task with your late tip. Win win situation.
*Reserve a few blue and pink boxes for box tasks, compasses or character card tasks
*Reserve a few bushes for later in the day before giving them back
*Reserve your seasonal items won from pink boxes and drop them when you get a level up task
*Flip tasks for free that you know you won't be able to fulfill in 20+ hours (landmark task if you've just upgraded it and new chapter if you won't finish a building for a while)

I have been playing this game for sometime now and have enjoyed every minute of it even when I’m stuck on something. I haven’t come across another game that compares to it. I try other games on and off but most of them get deleted in time. I play June’s Journey twice a day, every day. I’m addicted !! Thank you Wooga
Collecting 220 coins from the estate takes good 2 days.
Yep and I always manage to get the 220 coins after I have already harvested 60 coins

@@lorrainebeach4135 LOL working on a small screen I try to do that but often accidently touch the mansion when cashing in coins from the other buildings, same goes with trying to save the energy from the landmark buildings for competitions.

I don't think the programmers of this game intended for us to easily advance in this game...especially if we don't use real money.
I need 55 compass to get a new 9x9 (yes super small) plot of land, I have been playing 3x a day, so far have played 532 scenes plus 32 repeated scenes, so 564 and I have still yet to receive the 55 compasses. I have completed 2 team challenges, 1 of which we won 1st place, 3 detective needed needed challenges and over 125 help wanted cases, I also purchased a compass, with a Black Friday diamond package. So far I have spent $15 , spent 8 days and have moved up 14 levels (which is a chapter and 1/2 ) and have yet to collect 55 compasses. 70% of my compasses came from star boxes, 15% came from game play and 15% came from detective needed cases, Zero compasses received while playing repeated completed scenes. So you HAVE to move forward, to receive star boxes or plan on settle it in your favorite scene for a very very long time. Problem at hand is you get a 9x9 plot space, you have to collect enough flowers to move to the next level, or no star boxes (remember 70%] so you have to build the highest flower producing decorations to do this, which cripples your “decorating” very few new decorations come out, so you have 10 atriums laying around because they are high flowers. This is a fun game, obviously I haven’t stopped playing, but it is the only game with zero reward for moving ahead. You finish a chapter and it’s like getting punished, everything cost more and your land spaces are tinier and tinier. Other games, your lives get refilled, you get a bonus chargers for going to the next round, not this game. Absolutely zero rewards. I love their example, this huge green space just waiting for a decorations, maybe when you are a newbie, but no to the no if you are upper level. The creator of June’s Journey are on a power trip with the success of their game and it showed through their poor customer service. If I weren’t quarantined I’d definitely not be taking a statistical stand on how tedious it is to advance in this game, I get more joy from playing games where the publishers actually appreciated their players. Anyhoo if “patience is a virtue” June’s Journey will definitely test how virtuous you are. They make these you tube videos due to all the complaints, by the way. And yes I realize I can just stop playing, June’s Journey can thank COVID 19 that I haven’t.

Try playing with no new Islands to decorate! Been waiting a couple of months and have sent a text to the Wooga team and they reply it's in the works! I have 333 saved compasses with nothing to do with them!!

Lorraine, I just joined you on the waiting for an island tour. Super frustrating...but they have all the time in the world for endless social media promoting a game that just stops forward momentum. I notice a lot of the “new” holiday decorations are from last year too🤨
@@barbking2708 The new island came after I had collected 528 compasses and then it is some snowy island and there are no snowy items in the regular shop. So I use this island only as a storage place, because storing items on the ship takes your flowers away until you are able to put those items somewhere, but on the island it counts.
has anyone ever thought of being able to move the flower decorations or bushes that friends give to others ???? coins or diamonds could be charge , but it would make it much more interesting , and pleasant to decorate ....
wooga has addressed this many times--will not happen.

Thanks for the helpful tips. I've been playing for quite a while, but I'm still confused about what it means to "go up a level"
Going up a level involves earning enough flowers to get to the next level, if you build a high flower item, sometimes you can move up several levels at a time, going up a chapter means working through all 10 levels, then completing the end of chapter scene, which is a story you must help solve. If you get far enough, you will move to a whole different book.
What are the stars used for. They are on the picture that shows how many lives you have, how much prestige you have etc
Why do I have to wait six days before I can go to the next chapter?
Are you at the top level? They explained in an earlier video that it takes about a week to create and post new chapters.

When playing the challenger. I do like getting a high score. But alas there are players that don't play on your team. But this week we managed to get up another League (Respite club). So the question is. Without leaving another club to start again. How can I get my fellow clan to help boost us up the leaderboard.

I love this game but it is very difficult to play and now they are asking for different games to play, I’m very frustrated with my game.

I enjoyed the task and the extra bonuses but sometimes I just sucks and the only way that you can upgrade and keep going is it you take all your credit card I can't do it
A player on face book said they had over a million ribbons. How is that possible? Do you get more ribbons the higher level you are? Can you hold them?

Rotating items would mean that we would need to use at least 4x the data space for every single item, and we would have already reached the amount of space available for them (which would mean: no more no items). We prefer to continue making new beautiful decorations instead!

Yes, you have to leave your current club first and then start a new club with you as president. If I remember right, you will need to pay in coins or diamonds to start your new club.

Why do some players not open their gifted bushes?
Save bushes, then open them when you need something the bush may give. Ie, materials, boxes etc.

In the last contest you only got keys in the cases, not in the scenes.
Just check if keys are needed, they aren't always!
Some Detective needed challenges you will get keys for both playing scenes AND finishing “help wanted” tasks, sometimes it is one or the other. You just have to watch so you know where to focus, either playing scenes, or finishing tasks.
We still have people playing with Magic eye? They should be in a different category? Not fair to us who don’t use the technique... you need to fix that problem

The 2 worst help wanted tasks are #1- earning tips, drink or serve a coffee in cafe as this task will immediately pop right back up when you have just completed it to the point where you have no coffees left to serve or have run out of diamonds to even buy another one. #2- spending money on seasonal sets. This task forces you to either buy from a a seasonal set you don't want or spend your precious diamonds to change the task. I have learned to basically ignore the help wanted tasks even though I use to love to play fairground fortune & dectectives wanted...just not worth it in my opinion.
There are no hidden objects to find on the screen
When I’m doing a task in the newspaper, I collect money from the estate but it doesn’t give it to me in the bar that keeps track. Could you please fix this? 4:06

The Keys are for Detective Needed events! Click on the stopwatch icon to see what you get for collecting them :)

Why is it that sometimes you deliver bushes to a person but they don’t receive it? This has happened to me three times, and two of them was this week!
Make sure to put the bush where you want it to be and make sure it actually landed there, don't expect "the hand of God" to place it for you!

June's was helping folk to place bushes, then they stopped (when there was a glitch) now I'm not sure, so it's best to practise & do it yourself!

I've had a new chapter and go up a level and I did both. I ended a whole thing and travel to a new place. And it didn't give me the chapter and then on the level. I switched from 373 to 374 and it didn't give me that .

@@JunesJourney I have been waiting for about 10 days for a porcelain to complete mine. I play every day at least twice a day. At this rate I feel as if I could be playing for months before I get it. It does seem like a fix to me.

They are free once every 23 hours :)

No, you can only be in 1 club at a time :)
But... you can jump around to other clubs by "leaving" your current club, then rejoining again.

be careful for what you ask for, because they go a step futher and ruin the game by getting rid of the red, blue, and green bushes that we need to make our coffee and get a little energy when we can;t afford to buy diamond at that moment in time....I feel when they do this they will lose a lot of players.....

This Fairground Fortune is rigged. How can you justify giving some players different events that will be easier to win. So some get the Fairground Fortune and others Dectectives Needed. FF with Memoirs tasks that in order to win you must spend diamonds. DN players just need to play scenes and HW tasks. This is totally unfair! I'm so frustrated and upset. What is good for one should be good for all!!!!!!!!!!
