Sri Lanka is a very small country. With the exception of cricket and tea (tea is more popularly known as "Ceylon" than Sri Lanka), the world does not care much about Sri Lanka. But even though we are a small country, we are far ahead of what we have won and our heritage.

නමුත් අපි පොඩි රටක් වුණත් දිනා ගත්තු දේවල් වලිනුයි, අපිට අයිති උරුමයන්ගෙනුයි සෑහෙන තරම් ඉදිරියෙන් ඉන්නවා. දිගු ඉතිහාසයක්, පෞරාණික ඉදිකිරීම්, අලංකාර උත්සව, පිරිසිදු මුහුදු වෙරළ, සුන්දර දසුන් පිරි ප්‍රදේශ වගේම ඉතා ඉහළ ජෛව විවිධත්වයකට හිමිකම් කියන රටක් ලංකාව
මනරම්වූ වෙරළතීරය, මීදුමින් වැසුණු මධ්‍යම කඳුකරය, ඓතිහාසික නටබුන්, වනාන්තර, සශ්‍රීක වෙල් යායවල් වලින් ගහණ වූ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සුන්දරත්වය අත්දැකපු බොහෝ දෙනා මෙය පාරාදීසයකට සමාන කර ඇති වාර සංඛ්‍යාව අප්‍රමාණය.
