I've been using wireless (Wi-Fi) speakers for almost 6 years now... and I've been waiting for a real high-quality solution to arrive. I couldn't quite pull the trigger on the Linn wireless speakers but I was very close, however here with the FOCUS 10, I feel like I can take that next step. Wireless speakers have been around for a long time, and the convenience and minimalist functionality is now a must for me, the problem has always been "waiting for the sound quality to catch up to the technology" Thank you Hans !!!
Greetings from Switzerland.. It’s been a good introducing about Dynaudio Loudspeaker . I Early bought the Dynaudio C5 long time a go. That means I know exactly what Dynaudio can do and this is incredible..Super review..
These look great, I just I wish I could afford them! Hans, if you could review the PSB Alpha iQ speakers (which are conceptually similar, but quite a bit cheaper), it would be very interesting to hear your thoughts! Thank you for your excellent videos!
Hello Hans, thanks for the video. I've always wondered with active speakers if the performance gains with quality power cables would be of any advantage here, given there are no low voltage/current signal cables (interconnects.)
Thanks for the review. You mentioned using a rendu in your chain to the speakers. I also use a rendu for my Dyn 600XD’s (circa 2015). But, there’s no need for rendu with this new iteration, correct? Ethernet can go directly to speaker, Roon ready? Did you happen happen try this? If so, how did they sound? I’m thinking about upgrading.
Great video again! I am a bass fanatic, I have a small room to use this, its like 2,5m tall and 4x5m wide. I will use a sub for sure, which one would you recommend? Was thinking of an Arendal one! Martin
@@TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel The only thing that turns me of REL is the prices/performance ratio. I mean for the same price, many others have more power.
Hello could you please tell us if the master speakers can be connected with the slave speaker via a cable (not wireless)? Is it possible to wire connect them via Coax cable? Thank you
You can connect an active subwoofer to the master speaker. Cover = 80Hz. Dirac will then take the sub in the measurement too. If you don't want that, you can set Dirac to roll off at a frequency of your choice.
With the greatest respect, three things you missed. 1) The Bluetooth variant; 2) Whether the mains input is 110V, 220V, or bi-volt; and 3) whether the wi-fi connectivity is 2.4GHz, 5GHz, or both.
It does have Bluetooth, but why use it? It has lossless ChromeCast and Airplay. It does both 2.4GH and, 5GHz and can be used at AC voltages between 100 and 240 volts.

My pleasure
Hans I really like the connection diagrams you do. It helps me understand where equipment fits in and why I might want it.
Good to hear!

@@TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel Thx. Your efforts are better than anyone else delivers
Super review. I’m just about to launch myself into Dirac. Rather lost for the moment.
You can do it!
Excellent review! Super thorough.
Thank you sir.
Excellent thorough easy to follow review Hans! 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Hans, mooie review, ik ga ze beluisteren. Ben benieuwd naar de vergelijking in mijn huidige set-up: NAD298, NADC658, KEF R3 en Dirac Live..
Enjoy
Thanks for the super work👍, very helpful
You're welcome!
Thanks Hans! Great work 😀
Thanks

I currently have no plans to review the PSB's, but I have put them on a (long) list.

Everything in audio makes a difference.

Sorry, I didn't try that.
hi Hans, thanks for your comprehensive and insightful review. Have you experienced any lag or delay when connecting to the TV?
Keep smiling ;-)
Good question. Unfortunately I didn't think of that during testing. Sorry.

I have not reviewed subs for a long time so I might not be the best source here. I use REL’s.

If power is your thing… I go for sound quality…..
@@TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel I don't think REL is the only one on the market with quality, or is it?
@@mullerhun no, I just gave my preference.

I really don't know. Contact your local distributor.
How do they work as near field monitors?
I have not tried
3* for review quality !
Is that good.
@@TheHansBeekhuyzenChanneli guess it is if it’s out of 3* 🤣
Is there bass management in the app to set speaker hpf ?

Have you tried them without Dirac?
Yes, they sound even better with Dirac activated.
