I really like your channel, there's something special about it.
You said that you needed to copy the science pages. We use the free PDF that comes with the science units to print off pages for my kiddos. I can just sit and scroll through the PDF to find the pages we need and hit print. We're half way through Geology and my kids love it! I hope yours do, too!
I’ve been meaning to ask how you like the printer! I keep seeing it at Costco and wondering how it is with ink and print speed!
We have tried other unit studies and altho they looked pretty and looked like something I wanted on my table they ended up being an absolute fail with my kids. We are on our 3rd Science Unit Study Botany and my kids are loving it, engaging, and learning. My daughter: “Mom Botany isn’t REAL school” lol. She is not coloring pages while I read she is learning and loving it. 🥰

We LOVE The Good and the Beautiful too….doing Geology as well and just prepped that unit. We are cycling back through history this year as we completed all 4 years and couldn’t find anything else that I thought our family would enjoy….Love your channel…have a great school year. 😊

Our very first TGTB science unit is Marine Biology. We have already started our school year. I really like how TGTB lays everything out. We are using the LA, History, Science, typing and Creative Writing. It’s going to be a good year for my sweet student and myself! Excited!
I love you are organized and didn’t make it overly complicated in the process.
We are starting our school year with the Arthropod Science Unit. First time using TGATB for science and handwriting. My kids are so excited over what they have seen. If this year goes well we will be adding more TGATB to our school days.
What!?! These look so fun! I am so eager to get to do Geography with my kids and I’m not even sure why exactly! But we are start at level 2!! We will get there eventually I guess!! Lol Thank you for sharing!!
*You were one of the main inspirations for us to use more of TGTB curriculum as we started our 2nd year of homeschool this year. My kids (ages 8 and 9) are LOVING History 1 and the Level 3 Language Arts. We used some of the science last year but this is the first year using more of their core subjects. Waiting for the new math for level 3 to launch!*

I just set up our geology unit this week too! I still need to copy, make mini books etc. I use the pocket tabs for each unit, more hole punching but it works great! My brother is a head geologist at a mine in AZ so my kids are extra excited about this unit.

I really like how you print everything out at the beginning of the year. I usually wait until right before the lesson and it seems kind of rushed for me I’m going to try it this way
We loved the geology unit! Our favorite last year! Thanks for sharing..we have kids at similar ages and this is getting me excited for the new school year coming up!!
We did Geology last year and it was our absolute favorite! We love rocks and especially gemstones. I definitely recommend buying geodes, though it is hard to crack them open!
This year we will start with Energy. We work in construction, so this should be quite useful for our family.
We are switching over to TGATB this school year. And we are starting our year off with botany. Anxious and nervous to switch it up. But praying for a blessed year.

We are starting with mammals , then ecosystems ( I believe you suggested to do those back to back right ? ) and then water and our world . We do 3 a year cause we also do nature study throughout the year .

I am so like you where I like to take breaks in between and not overwhelm myself with doing all the things crammed into a few days. I want this to be enjoyable as it should !!

We found your channel last year after looking at TGTB LA Level 1.
I’m so excited to see Geology! That is what we are doing this year with my 3rd grader and Pre-K4 girls.
I will be doing Marine Biology with our weekly co-op for 3rd through 5th graders.
Both units arrived today and I ordered the pouches/folders as soon as I saw you using them this evening.
We will continue Exploring Nature with Children as it makes sense.
Since our girls are younger, I do not have another science planned for now. (We’ll
See how long it takes to finish Geology). The oldest also has a science next semester (Astronomy at co-op).
AND we have a Book Shark two-week volcano unit study I received free that will be completed at some point as well.
My kids chose to do Mammals, Geology and Botany - we are starting with Mammals! We're very excited. :)

Today I went through my school book shelf and actually made myself throw away off of my sons kindergarten curriculum we did last year. It was liberating but also sad at the same time. Why am I so attached to things like that?

I actually had my daughter seperate them and she loved that it was perforated and easy to seperate. I also love your index boxes hopefully I'll find something similar in South Africa ❤️

If you had to do it all over again . . . When your oldest was WHAT AGE/grade level would you start history and science? When you finish all the science units/history levels do you loop back and start over or switch curriculums?

Liked before the video even got started bc I love your videos always. We have masterbooks adventures in creation we’re finishing up before starting anything else. We do have TGTB space science, marine biology and safety unit ready to go in binders when we are ready to start those.

Start over because the notebooks are for different age groups and you can always find a different read aloud from the list for the second time around
We will be starting Water and Our World science unit. How do you do the I think it's called wall board with vocabulary words? This is our 2nd year homeschooling and 1st year using ALL of TGTB.

We’re new to TGTB. We’ll be doing LA level 1 and level 3. It says to create a binder for their stories. Did you do that or just use a composition notebook or something different?

I just put my daughter’s grade 9 cards in a ziploc bag, couldn’t find a big enough box to fit them😔if you find one please share 😁
Someone else mentioned that they found a mini binder and sheet protectors on Amazon that fit the cards perfectly.
