Thank you. I do have background music sometimes. But soft. In quiet passages. But don't look at very old movies from me. I just listen to music while painting. I didn't care much who is viewing. I just did want to see myself paint. (Learn process)
It took me a while to see on that white paper where to go for a nice sky. but luckily it usually goes well these days.. Not always, as my previous video is proof!
Hiya Edo, I use Maimeri Blu watercolour paint too and I love them, particularly so many single pigments. Thanks very much for a great tutorial, I'm in England and just subscribed.
For the trees the paper texture is very helpful. And for trees you have to load your brush up with enough pigment and water. You have to practise a lot to know this is it! And skies are the opposite, very diluted washes, not to much pigment. only when the paper is wet you come in back with a stiffer mixture. But I practise skies like this since 1992.
Thanks Eric, great compliment. although it is really a Seago sky what Seago makes. I cannot blame him. He didn't have the Maimeri Pigments and Princeton Brushes! 😄😄 Otherwise he could make his skies better! 😉
Awesome Maestro. I like Edward Seago too. It’s almost impossible to figure out how he painted. The other three I also like a lot are James Fletcher-Watson, Edward Wesson, and Aubrey Phillips.
Thank you Edo for this video. Very kind of you and very generous to show us Edward Seago’s techniques. When you make another video, it would be great if we can see your palette and how wet is your brush when you mix the colours. Thank you again. I love your tutorials. ❤
My palette is way too big to show next to my painting. the painting would be to small to follow. I could use a smaller palette. but my table is at a angle of 15 degrees, so that is another problem. I could buy another camera to pixelate my movements on my palette. But this is a free of payment demo, it is a bit to valuable to buy something extra just to show me mixing colours. I tell what I mix, for a painter that should be enough. Showing how wet a brush is, that is something impossible. one time it is wetter than other times. I am afraid you have learn to that yourself.
Love it you let people know the colors you are using very informative and no background music.fantastic

Thanks so much Edo. Great to see you again.
My Pleasure Chris! I try to do one a month, maybe more!
I always think you’re a master of skies. As it should be for a dutch master 👍🏻😄

Wonderful tutorial Edo! Very much appreciated
My pleasure. thanks for the compliment
Thank you for the inspiring tutorial! I learned good techniques and enjoyed the beautiful Seago painting style.
my pleasure. nice to hear you enjoyed the demo

Thanks for subscribing! I am glad you liked the demo! And yes Maimeri is the best!!
Smashing demonstration Edo love the sky and the tree line to the right 👍👍🥃
Thank you very much Richard. That line of trees went very well. If you want it like that it never happens. But this time it was really good.
Hello Edo good to have you back. Love this thank you
Thank you Geoff. I plan one a month for sure, and if I have inspiration, and the urge to share something I do will more.
Thanks for this lesson, Edo! Much appreciated.
My pleasure. This one came of really nice.
Beautiful result Edo. I’ve learned how to paint dark water edges edges from you. Thanks for sharing.
That is really lovely to hear! lots of success with painting water and the edges from now on!
Love that rigger. I use mine all the time. Thanks Edo for the video. Always welcome
Yes it is a very fine rigger! Not much in use now, but other paintings I use it very often.
Lovely painting! Seago is one of my favorites.
Seago & Wesson are heroes of watercolour. The one alive I follow is John Hoar. such a great modest artist! Thank you very much
Thanks. I always enjoy watching you work.
Good to hear Adrian, comes a new one next week!
Thoroughly enjoyed your painting and your explanation of what you were doing. Great tutorial! Thank you!
Thanks for your nice compliments. very encouraging!
Thank you Edo, wonderful as always. Love the sky. Skies and trees I just can’t get the hang of painting them

Thank you Edo. Especially for your detailed and very helpful explanations.
My pleasure Spinq. Good to learn you like the details I mention. Always afraid it is a bit boring.
Hi. Glad I caught this!
Thanks for watching
Thank you Edo. I just ordered my meimeri paints today for my new travel palette. Perfect timing to see you use yours!
Thank you very much Terry. I hope you like the Maimeri pigments as much as I do.
Superb demonstration, Edo! Dare I say, I think I prefer your sky to Seago's in this one!

Thx Edo, beautiful!
Thank you so much Tony!
I like to listen to you speak. Nice painting as well.
To be honest I don't like my voice at all. But you never hear yourself back in realtime. Thank you very much for the compliment.

James Fletcher-Watson, Edward Wesson, and Aubrey Phillips. You name all the ones I love too! Thank you very much
Seago would love it!
That is a great compliment. I admire the artist very much. His simplicity of approaching a scene are a big lesson for me.
A great tutorial!
Thank you very much

@@EdoHannema-Watercolour-Art Thank you Edo. I totally understand. Grateful for your free tutorial. It’s excellent and very easy to follow. ❤️
