Plot: Rapunzel is very scared of the world. Mother Gothel, her loving stepmom saved her from the bandits who stole her from her parents. Despite of Gothel knowing her glowing power she loved her and never intended to use her. One day, a curios Tower Guard was riding Maximus and raid the house. Mother Gothel is away and rapunzel is fearful so she was kidnapped. Little did she know, Pascal was taken away by her small bag The two was detained in a tower, where she saw Flynn, a pretender bandit who look intimidating but scared af anti-hero. He helped her escaped but the two was chased down by the guard and his bandits. They have a chase scene, but after a while the two fearful character made their way to the town. Rapunzel saw the sun float and got a vision of her past; In the past, she was stolen by the bandits by the tower guard to use her magic to propel their empire's magic god but Gothel saved her and using her magic, She stole Rapunzel and make her as her own daughter. Rapunzel immediately entered the castle and confess to the Royalties. But they never believed her. They saw flynn and ask guards to shoo both of them. Rapunzel lost hope, and Flynn just leaves her alone. Rapunzel felt betrayed. Pascal also was bored. After a moment, Gothel appeared and saves her step daughter. They returned in the tower, and Gothel explained how she protects Rapunzel away from all bandits and the royalties for they don't know how dangerous she is when her hair creates a paradox and portal thru the hellsworld and etc. Rapunzel hugged Gothel nonetheless and they lived happily. Flyyn was watching the tower to check here and there, secretly hoping to take a glimpse of Rapunzel. Until He figured out Rapunzel and Gothel leaves their old home. He cried and regret being coward to tell his feelings.

Yeah- i feel like the og storyline and the idea of Gothel being a kidnapper goes right out the window lol- Though it DOES give me a rewrite idea- There isn't a set time, but it's suspected that the movie takes place somewhere ranging from the 1400s to the 1700s, and from my knowledge, magic wasn't really accepted back then- So Rapunzel existing with magical healing abilities would put a huge target on her back- Gothel may have found this out, and took her into hiding, where her first argument during "Mother knows best" actually stands, as she explained the dangers of the world. The Guard may still be searching for them, which gives us one of the main antagonists/villains of the new story :)

Technically the opposite of the captain of the guards colors should actually be green and silver because we see him in red and gold. Her dress is not pink is purple

funfact! when i was like 3 or 4 paw patrol had just come out and i loved marshall (he's the best) and for my b-day my mum asked me who i wanted to invite and i said "MARSHALL". on the day of my b-day i asked my mum "wheres marshall" and she pointed at my brothers friend who was called marshall and said "he's right there". i looked at her and said in the "sweetest" way possible "i meant marshall from paw patrol" and my brothers poor friend was just stood there awkwardly XD
But if mother gothel was the opposite, she wouldn't care about her youth, so that means she has no reason to kidnap rapunzel, and therefore, tangled wouldn't have existed😂😂.

The real Villian would be Rapunzel's Fear after gothel found Rapunzel outside Gothel was questioning things but not rather the original movie itself and pretty much look forward for what Rapunzel went through after that Gothel brings her back to the tower to do her Typical Cooking and trying to make Rapunzel smile then she offers Rapunzel to return to her kingdom but Rapunzel Refuses as she would not accept the idea of leaving even if gothel offers the idea for her to leave the tower, gothel would be forced to guide her outside the tower to reach the kingdom which would result in gothel getting Captured by the guards and pretty much Locked in The dungeon of the kingdom as they know who was gothel is and what is her previous interests on keeping Rapunzel, after the Unbelievable scene Rapunzel The events will change drastically due to her fear of losing and overgrowing hatred toreards her real parents, Gothel in the other hand it would be a bad ending for both of them but it wouldn't end there yet For Rapunzel since she lost someone Who she found A real mother In her eyes even if it was all a lie, after all those events Rapunzel would forced herself to learn To overcome her fears And leave the castle quickly and planning an escape and Pretty much Rebel her kingdom to save Gothel Even if she knows that she was stolen from her, Afterwards Rapunzel would use the sundrop's healing to give gothel enough strength for the both to Escape the Kingdom nearly getting caught from one of the guards Then after all that running the 2 would reach to gothel's old cottage Someone that gothel used to take care of but rather Rapunzel will never meet after the movie, in the end Rapunzel Would stay with gothel While she Slowly Decays from old age as she will refuse Rapunzel's healing Powers and pretty much Resulting in Rapunzel cutting her hair and giving gothel a proper burial before leaving the cottage to look forward on her life somewhere near the kingdom and getting a new identity to avoid detection from her parents
