It was pretty fun but with this being the smallest airbag model; the runout was not very long which caused the airbag to bounce us off and onto the hard ground. I’m actually working on trying to get this switched out for more of an airbag pit which will be better for us practicing tricks. Went to rays indoor park a couple months back and spent time in their foam pit learning the tuck no hander and 360’s. Felt a lot more comfortable learning on something like that. If this airbag had a longer runout on the bottom it would be perfect though…
I’ve enjoyed it a lot. The main thing I did was remove the front brake and switched the tires (mostly because I didn’t like the tan wall tires it came with 😆). It’s about 24 lbs after those changes. I think it’s a great option with a good price. Bikes online has it with $100 off right now: tidd.ly/3F0MJzo and it’s in stock. It’s hard to beat it for the price. The GT La Bomba Pro was another DJ I was looking at before my partnership with bikes online but they are never in stock and cost closer to $1,500.
