AEGs are cool and all but I feel like they should be used exclusively in AEG only games. All the advantages of a springer plus all the advantages of a flywheeler with none of the downsides of either seems to OP if brought to games where everyone else is using either of the aforementioned
Forgot to mention this but bringing these to games where people are using springers and flywheelers would make the game pay to win due to their price. Normally you could do well in a half dart game even with a lower end blaster which makes it balanced but even the cheapest of the 3 AEGs is over 150 dollars and it's not fair to fight against with something like a nexus or trion, destroying game balance
I agree they are strong, but I wouldn't say they are that strong. They are more prone to jamming and worse accuracy over longer distances (depending specifically on the model, like the 76). It's a lot more dependent on the play area, fly wheels will always trump more CQC fields while maintaining some level of accuracy (also depending on the blaster). There's also the ammo situation, as they are both a lot more picky with the darts (bamboo darts will cause jams) and you will definitely fire more shots down range, which if there's an ammo limit, will be a lil difficult to deal with (granted, skill issue but most can't help themselves), not to mention they are somewhat bulky and heavy They are a stronger all rounder, but they lack that specialization along with the general reliability of fly wheels and springer. As of now, I do agree they should be limited, at the very least limit how many can be on a team. At the end of the day though, have fun (The storm has jammed too many times on me, but it is a very good blaster)
what about the Bk-1s and the inverted scales. the inverted scales is IMO better than the 76 (and is actually available) also to answer your question... the 76 can be found on zhenduo and/or I think biu-blasters in a horrible red and green colour scheme.
Really like the comparison video! The Storm , what can you say, but I would have to go with the Challenger. Something about the look, I really like the Marvel, Star Wars, Sci-Fi look, it could fit right in! Shell Ejectors next? Thanks for the video!
uh, why didnt they include the inverted scales and the bk1s? Those are probably the most recent, popular, and attainable fiscally and in terms of availability?
Why didn't they talk about jamming/feeding/reliability? I have read that maintenance and jamming (and price) are the main downsides keeping AEBs from taking over the current preference for flywheelers in the hobby
Hoping that the AEG tech will becoke more widely understood and we'll get more unvonventional and less performance focused aegs (totall biased because i want to make one myself)
Challenger is discontinued due to its outdated internals and unreliablility; 77, the seccussor of the 76 is coming pretty soon, will be everything you wanted 76 to be. There is another AEG conversion of Lynx coming, Bach, it has some IP controversy, but hopefully it will be solved when it hits the western market
I have no clue how I ended up here… but we are talking $500 nerf guns? I guess this is like the extreme hobbyists or are there nerf games or something?
Before you guys buy a 76, just know that the 77 is coming out relatively soon
Good Point!
Do you guys know where is there more bews on colonel wasp 77?
The recoil on the 76 is actually a selling point to me.
It's so fun to use
I still cant unsee the storm as a metal pipe with 3d printed parts
Flfc, great to see a comparison with aegs, its a long awaited topic for me
The 76 definition wins style points being a really good nerf mp40 modernized

When the hpa guy walks in…

Oh gosh that color is terrible, I saw it the other day and jeez

The 76 looks a lot like an MP-40

I think I’d be more excited to get the BK-1S or the short barrel CQB version BK-2S.
Hoping that the AEG tech will becoke more widely understood and we'll get more unvonventional and less performance focused aegs (totall biased because i want to make one myself)
Of course the most expensive one is the best
What about the inverted scales blasters?

Thank you for the video! Take care
Thanks for watching!
I can’t wait to get my storm
Make a springer into a flywheel or a fly wheel into a springer
