I somehow missed this video but enjoyed it I spent 3 weeks in Southern India one week in Kerala it’s an amazing place to visit & the food is very much influenced by the Portuguese in some places Paratha or Porotta is so much nicer than Naan it’s lighter & not heavy Lovely restaurant Chatter Guys It was a bit noisy but then so is India 😄
Good point, LVP! We went to another noisy restaurant last week but we were with a large group and once everyone had arrived we didn't really notice the din 👍😊❤️
I was brought up in Leeds and lived on the outskirts in a village called Calverley. Shirley Bassey also stayed at Queen's Hotel a long time ago . Love you guys :)
Thank you for your comment, Dion. We reckon a lot of celebrities have stayed at The Queen's. It's a massive hotel and right in the heart of the city ❤️
Hi Nicole. Kerala is a region of India and it has a lot of different curries but generally we find Kerala curries have more subtle and layered flavours than your average curry and most that we've tried have been milder. Hope this helped 😀❤️🪷 xx
Hi Colin and Tim Wow all that construction work in Leeds thank goodness its calmed down now, Newcastle outskirts were the same for nearly five years. When you said you don't visit Leeds as much due to the price i was a bit confused by that, but will come back to that at the end of the review.. Firstly when you looked at the menus all i can say is that your Indian pronunciation is 10 times better than mine 😆 Colin your starter, my good friend going for the hot chili again, you where lucky with this one. Tim so sorry your starter was so bland, im sorry about that. Re the toilets i was impressed how clean they were and that mirror and its lights i bet you two have the same in your loo at home. Your main meals looked fine, but as to the price i thought that was quite high, and like i said at the start i was a bit confused as i thought Leeds was well priced, but things seem to have changed in the last few years. Great vlog guys, Chris. 🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈
Hi Chris. Thank you for your comment. We don't think Leeds is any more expensive than other cities but most cities nowadays are pretty pricey. We reckon we can have a good weekend in Blackpool for the price of a night out in Leeds 🌈👛🤩
@saltaire Sadly it's not! But it wasn't a budget meal either and we expected a more relaxed 😎 atmosphere and not all the tables shoved so closely together for that price 🤔
Timothy... Doesn't Colin's new haircut suit him. Makes him look so Butch. Hope to trip over you two in some picturesque Benidorm Old Town alleyway. I'll be there 2nd to 9th of September.
Hi Chatter Guys. I so love watching your videos but one piece of constructive feedback. Please don’t order the same dishes as it’s great for the chatter gang to get your views on a variety of dishes - you can always try each others dish and comment on both 🥰
I always check the toilets first before I eat in a new place, as the hygiene is suppose to represent the same in the kitchen, however I know you have been there before. Colin's starter deffo looked more appetizing than yours Tim- They will put you all together has there is less floor space to cover cleaning and maintenance wise - hate loud spaces, but you are correct if you are in a large group you don't notice other people as much and their noise.. I'm not going there now after this review as I trust you implicitly. 😍😍
I have just had to slightly edit my original because I used the word Cam after the word toilet and it crossed the sentence out! 😂 In innocence I didn't even think that, that would be an issue!😂 😂😂😂 realise
Thanks LM. We guarantee all our reviews are genuine. Some might not agree with them but we always tell you what we think 🤔 We tried typing in the words toilet cam and nothing happened. We've no idea what happened with your earlier comment 😕🩷🌈
@@thechatterguys I know they are and I trust them 😍 I'm not sure either I suppose the 2 words together could potentially sound a bit sinister depending on the inference and context 😂 Lots of Love LM X

Aww what a shame about your doghnuts: my first thought was "Oo they're different I might have picked those". Thank you for showing City Square too. I didn't recognise it although I have been to Leeds Train Station.
Those doughnuts might have been nice with some tasty 😋 dips but they weren't very tasty. City Square has radically changed in the last few years. We hardly recognise it ourselves 😀
What a superb review and video tour of the area. You guys seem lovely; and that made the video even better.
Thank you. That was a lovely comment 👍❤️😎

Hi Tim & Colin, what is a kerala curry like? X

Loved this as always!!x
Thank you xx 🙂
I really want to try this place it looks lovely! Great vlog as usual guys ❤xxx
The food is great, Caz. Take some earplugs when you go, though! 💗❤️🩷

Stayed in Headingley for a while great restaurants and food
Cheers Wolverine 🐺 You're right. Lots of great restaurants in the suburbs as well as in the city centre 👍
I meant to say that the restaurant looked lovely inside
Thanks Dave. The decor didn't blow us away but it was interesting 🤔 and nice enough 😀
I think I would struggle with the noise but the food looked good, especially Colin's.
The food was absolutely spot on but the noise was just too much for us 😭
I went to Uni in Leeds, you should try the noodle soup at the Viatnamese stand in the market, my hangover cure!
Excellent tip, Hayley. I'll remind Colin the next time he's feeling the worse for wear 😆 xxx
£74 for a meal out 😳 I'd rather stay in and cook something myself!
That is not expensive at all in Leeds.
@seansmith445 The mean wasn't overpriced for the city centre, but we would have preferred a more relaxed atmosphere 😎
@saltaire Sadly it's not! But it wasn't a budget meal either and we expected a more relaxed 😎 atmosphere and not all the tables shoved so closely together for that price 🤔

Colin seems to be the only one who doesn't like his new haircut. Absolutely! we hope to see you in Benidorm. We're there from the 3rd 😎

That is a cracking idea, Susan. And that's what we're going to do in the future. Thank you so much 🙏 xxx
Did seem very noisy and I see what you mean about Leeds being expensive 😊
Absolutely! Although, to be fair, we don't think Leeds is any more 🫰 expensive than most cities in the UK 👛👍🩷

Great restaurant, our group have dined here and we voted it out best visit restaurant. Cant remember it being that noisy!
Cheers LGM 😄
Did that restaurant use to be Bibis and La Comedia?
Hi Robby. We don't remember La Comedia but Bibi's used to be underneath the railway 🚂 station, it wasn't on Mill Hill where Tharavadu is 👍🤠🛋️
@@thechatterguys La Comida Trattoria Pizzeria on Mill Hill was a city centre dining institution back in the day. Pictured here in August 1989. Photo: YPN
Ooh! Tim thinks he remembers there might have been a pizza 🍕 restaurant in the same building that now houses Tharavadu 👍👍👍
Great menu 👌
Cheers Colin ☺️

Hang on. You didn't say whether it got the Chatter Guys Seal of Approval or a Not on your Nelly😢
You're right, we didn't. It would have been an ” It were all right". We'll do better in future, thank you for reminding us, Rob 😎🌞❤️
