Legend mate .... just what I needed.... as a townee... ya don't see how this is done a whole lot. Now I can just run my 4 wire on the new boundary! Thanks very Much!
Where can i find the racheting tentioner tool like yours, yours have a pretty big handle that looks easy on the hands and gives you pretty good leverage, all the ones i found have narrow handle and some dont even rachet, can you point me in the right direction please, and i love your work, your tips are very handy
Thanks Trav. Glad to hear you like our products. If are in New Zealand contact email is sales@strainrite.co.nz website www.strainrite.co.nz or our export manager can help you out export@strainrite.co.nz
I don't know what your export manager has been told Hugh, but you really need to look after your cousins (adopted cousin in my case) across the Tasman first before you go to the US. It's very difficult to find your products in Australia- bits and pieces from various sources. I ended up buying from a place in Tasmania and had to pay $56 in freight! Can your export manager please talk to Norco Co-op in Australia because they have the largest distribution of rural stores in Australia?

How did you break the wire?
So they are made to stay there?
Yes they are.
is the spool on the strainer made of aluminum or zinc?
Hi Charlie, the spools are Die Cast Aluminium.
Could you also use a kiwi quick connection strainer inline (without cutting the wire)?
Hi Kyle, Sorry note familiar with a "kiwi quick connection strainer". Its not a Strainrite product.

For electric fencing that will short the line out, won't it? Needs an insulated ratchet strainer at the end.
No it wont
Yep but that step was missed out as we were all just looking at the tensioner
