So why is it that EVERY night of the year, as my side of the Earth is looking AWAY from the sun, hence it's night, is it possible that I can look the same direction and see the same Southern Cross all year round? If only the solar system, a handful of planets, are what orbits the sun, why does the entire galaxy seem to orbit it as well?
The only way this could make sense to me, is based on the geocentric model, where everything moves above the Stationary Planar Earth.

the southern cross is visible all year round because it is near the south celestial pole which doesn't change position relative to earth. the galaxy orbits the center of the milky way not the sun. What your talking about (the geocentric model) has been disproven for centuries.
