- this is The Only Brachypelma hamorii Video You Need to Watch, in this video I rehouse my first tarantula in my collection, the one that kickstarted my passion for these animals and started my UA-cam journey. brachypelma hamorii is a fantastic beginner tarantula and deserves a fantastic new enclosure. not to mention the Mexican Red knee tarantula is absolutely beautiful.

Glad you enjoyed it buddy 👍
Nice rehouse Robbie, the enclosure looks really nice she will enjoy her new home
I hope so buddy
A very effective enclosure she is beautiful thank you for the ideas xxx
You're more than welcome, it's always nice to inspire people 😊
Perfect 👌 Robbie , She will definitely prefer that enclosure now that it is more suitable for her genus ! Full Marks on the blend of colours and textures that You choose...Keep up the good work !💕🕷🕸
Appreciate it buddy
Really impressive
Hey pepper thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it 😊
Very nice. The only thing I would suggest is that you use a small paint brush ( for art ) for prodding your tarantula to move if you need to get her out or into something. The brush is soft and gentle , not like the metal tongs.
Thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏
That was a awesome set up, I loved the hide looks great.🖤
Hope she likes it
@@robbiestalkingts checked in on her and she is getting cozy.
Nice man!!
Thanks for watching ❤️
Nicely done, and gorgeous hamorii, can't wait till mine is that big, I bought a Togo starburst over a year ago, and low and behold It ended up being an hamorii what I received lol,
I've had kinda the same thing, got a brachypelma auratum sling that ended up as brachypelma boehmei but as I love the genus I really didn't mind at the time
That's awesome set up liked the way you have done it
I love it I think it's my favourite one so far, I'm going to do more where I try to replicate its natural environment
Ya you do that sure it will look.like there habitat in the wild cool
That's the plan 😊
She's gorgeous! My B.H was also one of my first T's! I named her Samhain. She is sweet but looooves flicking hairs lol. I loved how it turned out
I love her to bits definitely deserved the upgrade
AWESOME a STUNNING T mate shes a BEAUTIE and what a nice SET UP too mate AWESOME
Thanks Michael I'm definitely making the effort to make enclosures as natural as possible glad you like it
@@robbiestalkingts Your welcome Robbie
Nice rehousing, real does look very natural indeed. I guess we are always trying to think of good ways, of trying to improve our t's lives. It really does look great.
Thanks Jackie it's a video I'd been planning for quite a while, just happy to finally get it done, thanks for watching
@@robbiestalkingts no problem at all.
❤️❤️❤️
Freaking Beautiful ❤️
Thanks John I think so too
Looking good Robbie. I had a juvie B hamorii from Luke @Spa Spiders in my mystery box last week. I read that in nature they like to burrow under rocks, my first thought was I need some pieces of slate, which I am going to use when I rehouse him/her when next needed 😁
You're spot on, in the wild they are found on rocky hillsides in rock crevices, not a hole in the ground like most people think. Just make sure you build a solid structure out of the rocks and it will be perfect
Omg I did just the same a while ago!!! Studied how they live in the wild, and introduced several rocks in the enclosure. My T sits there all the time, and likes to hide between the rocks. Also protects it from the heat 😃
Perfect 🥰
My first T was a b hamorii too ❤ I got her when she was like the size of a dime. Now she’s a couple molts smaller than yours. She’s about to outgrow her current enclosure so I’m preparing 🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations you have done a fantastic job raising her that's fantastic 😊😊😊 they really are a fantastic species I love them
👏🏻❤️🖤👏🏻❤️🖤👏🏻
Looks good, although some nice looking aquarium stone would look awesome
I did think about adding some stones but it already weighs a ton so I opted not to
Nice one mate, been thinking of doing something similar myself, trying to find some lightweight rocks but may have to use whatever I can find, looks great 👍🏻
If you set it up correctly and safely then you can use anything, just needs some enginuity and common sense, you will have no issues buddy at all go for it
@@robbiestalkingts was only looking for lightweight so I don't do myself an injury lol. Yeah I'm gonna give it a go 👍🏻
Good man I'd love to see what you do with the set up
@@robbiestalkingts Yeah I'll probably do it on channel 👍🏻
Love it Robbie!!!! She’s GORGEOUS! Can’t wait to see some good shots of her in there! Y’all need to remind me where to get those rehousing tubes. Every time someone tells me I forget and don’t write it down 🤦🏻♀️ but yes I absolutely love this set up 🤍
Btw I would just call her sassy 💁🏻♀️😂
Tarantula rooms sell them I picked mine up at a show for £10 it's fantastic
I've called her a few things over the years 🤣
@@robbiestalkingts tarantula rooms that’s it, thank you!!
@@robbiestalkingts meh can’t get one in the states 😭 guess I’ll patiently wait lol
Does that have a mesh lid?
It does I've never had issues with them so I don't swap them out for acrylic
I just got this species yesterday. How bad are the hairs? I don’t know how I’ll react to them or how shitty they are
Just like any brachypelma species they do make you itchy but I've found if you take an antihistamine tablet or clean the area you get it on with detol the irritation dosent last too long
@@robbiestalkingts My B.emilia was quite the hair kicker. if you wanted to hold her ,you had to deal with the itch which wasn't bad. My adult female B.smithi never kicked hair. I never messed with her.She was huge with very large fangs.
How old is she ?
I've had her for 5-6 years and she was purchased as a 3" juvenile so you can add 2-3 years on top of that so between 7-9 years is my best guess it's just an approximate of course
