Tom Cruise uncomfortable: "I never wanted to be a priest"

My brief encounter with Mr. Tom Cruise was during a Premiere for the first Jack Reacher movie in London.
During an extreme cold weather I tried my luck asking about why he decided not to be a priest when younger. That didn't go down well.
Apart from that, great guy who stops to talk to every single person during the red carpet.

He absolutely lived at the seminary and studied, at least for a little while, to be a priest. This is well documented. He is lying.

No he’s not. He never WANTED to be a priest and even said that back in his 20s. He went there to get free education and to get away from home. Don’t say people are lying so quickly.
