A crazy storm hits us and we are not sure what is happening. Part of our roof comes off and there is so much storm damage. We don't know what is happening, but it seems like it was a tornado!

-The chairs blew towards the pool instead of through your doors
-You still have a roof over you so you can stay in part of the house
-None of your cars were damaged
-Things were topped over-not broke
-you’re beautiful family is all safe
-you live in a great community
-Thankfully you and Aaron were back home
I live in Fla -we get tornados a lot. They are very scary but thankfully you’re all ok. Loved seeing all your kids pitching in

I'm so thankful everyone is okay. Houses can be repaired but lives can't. You're fortunate to live in a community where everyone helps each other. That's a blessing. A lot of people live in communities where they don't even know their neighbors.

We just had a tornado in Michigan. My mom and sister were just missed. My mom basically drove into it after she left my house...we knew a storm was coming but tornados are rare here. A Powerline almost hit her car 😳 I'm glad you are all OK. ❤
We had so many trees down from this storm here in Michigan, we had no power for 3 days thank goodness we have a generator
Just missed us too . Couple years ago one went thru Grand Rapids and hit one block from me. It’s scary
Thank god you are all safe. We are originally from Michigan the wind here in Arizona was very similar to a tornado.
How scary, I don’t like Michigan but thats scary
They say the earth is tilted and that the moon is moving some away from earth I think this could be why so much bad weather everywhere
Call your insurance company before you repair anything to see what they will cover or they may not help you at all. It’s good that you have so much video evidence. We’re so glad you’re all okay!
I'm glad everyone is ok. A house can be fixed as well as any other material things, but all you crazy pieces cannot be replaced. Can't wait to see the remaining videos of Atlanta, but glad for the update. Your community is just as amazing as you all. Many continued blessings 🧡

The weather is insane everywhere lately. 😭 We just got hit with the worst and most devastating storm /cyclone ever recorded in history here in Greece. Glad to see you're all safe and unhurt, property damage can always be fixed. ❤️♥️❤️
Absolutely extreme on a global level this year. Earthquakes, floods, bushfires, cyclones, tornados etc.

So sorry for your damage but so happy you are all ok. Sure seems like a tornado with the trees sheered off the way they were. Here in Wisconsin, along with tornadoes, we have wind sheer which can be as damaging as a tornado. And yes please have an emergency bag that you can always grab. Shoes are always important to have in those situations as when things happen in the night you don’t want to step in dangerous things. Love you guys
It’s monsoon season in AZ so we’ve been having some bad weather. It’s normal for here though.
So glad everyone is ok! That's so scary. File a property insurance claim and show the adjuster all of the before photos, anything damaged should be considered under the claim, even your broken outdoor items, exterior stucco, ect ❤
Exactly - not sure why there would be a neighborhood cleanup that quickly unless all pictures & damages were documented/filmed.
I don't like when people say "that's nothing". It is something. It's something that personal that happened to you. You have every right to feel sad, grateful, scared. Maybe a F1 tornado or bad straight winds that hit a curve. I'm so happy that you guys are all safe.

We are on the west side and got some rain but nothing compared to what you guys got over there! Definitely glad you are all safe! Seeing the airport on the news the next morning was so shocking to see how those planes were thrown around like toys!

Thankfully, God was watching out for you and that you all are okay. All the damage can be fixed. Praying Aurora feels better soon period and insurance will help with all the damage. What an amazing community. I have been in two tornadoes and it is crazy the damage the wind does

Storms like this are scary. I live in germany and over the last few years a few bad storms hit us. The first one had really big hail which destroyed part of our roof and the water came flowing in through different spots. It was really scary. After that we installed special clamps on our roof tiles so they cant fly away anymore in storms. But since then i still always get nervous when a big Storm is coming.
Never go under stairs because they can collapse ontop of you. Always go to the smallest room in the middle of the house. Bathrooms are good because of all the piping/snack closet would be good.
Snack closet is under one side of the stairs but yeah bathroom

I was in a Toronto once i was 13yrs old and I was on a church bus 🚌 and I started praying to God I was safe after the Toronto in Fargo ok

I’m glad everyone is ok, the house can be fixed that look like that was a tornado to me. We had tornadoes here in Mississippi and that’s what that looks like. I’m just glad your family was OK and your neighbors that’s all that matters. Love you guys. You have wonderful neighbors for y’all to get together and help on another.

I am so glad everyone is safe! I survived a tornado when I was ten! My brother and I were playing a little league baseball game. A tornado hit the ball field! I was terrified but fortunately no one was hurt seriously! The light poles were snapped and the two story score box and concession was blown off its foundation.

I’m so glad you guys are safe! I’m from the Chicago area as well so we often receive tornado warnings and watches. But it rarely gets this bad. I agree, make sure to make a emergency kit just incase!

March 2020 we had an F-4 tornado rip through my little city in Tennessee. We got no warning. Actually that night they said “thunderstorms but no tornadoes” I was woken up to my bedroom window busting out at 2 am and alllll kinda of debris hitting the side and sounding like a freight train. 23 beautiful people in my little community lost their lives they day, of all ages. Most of the houses were completely gone. Sooo many injured. My road blocked off because of the deceased bodies. All of us trapped. It looked like a war zone and I had severe survivors guilt. Will never ever forget that. So glad God was with me as I cried and prayed and so glad He was with you and your family❤ I’ll never understand why my life was spared. Our community and state really has never come together so much. It was heartwarming. I now take any storm so much serious now and have severe storm PTSD.
You could have also experienced straight line winds. We get a lot of that here in TN and they can do as much damage an F -1 tornado.

My brother lives in Paradise Valley. He’s a retired police officer but he’s one of those who can’t stop helping others. So he was out all Wednesday morning and afternoon helping families clean up yards or go buy emergency supplies. He’s recently retired and is used to the graveyard shift. He told me that he definitely saw tornado type activity. Even their house got some damage because their backyard starts backing up to the mountain. Even some of the wildlife was taking refuge in their yard.
Oh that's beautiful he still helps... some folks are just protectors and helpers

Glad you are all ok. We had tornado warning last night. It's the 3rd in less than a month two hit on each side of us. Luckily they were barely level one's. But getting those hit the cellar messages sure are rough on nerves

Sorry to see the damage. But glad you all are ok. I lived with 4 tornadoes over the years as where I live it's Tornado alley as they call it. The last Tornado was as F4 Tornado. It was one of the worst. It affected some people destroying 4 homes and killing a horse and cattle. So it is scary and crazy. Make sure you have emergency bags. And if you can just watch the skies in keep track of weather. Stay safe. I have lived through quite a few tornadoes that now we monitor the area, the skies and listen to news reports. It's better to be aware of it all. So you know to get to where you are safe.

So glad you are all ok! ❤ We had a tornado go through our woods end of July. Our power was out for 49 hours. No water either, since we have a well and it runs on electricity. We lost a lot of trees 😢 No damage to our house though, thankfully! Scary stuff!!
