I feel like the show went downhill after Funky left. Fox saw the numbers decline steadily.. I believe the show was not going to be renewed and FOX is allowing the public to place the blame on TeaGIF. I agree all 3 were problematic at times, and things at work should have stayed at work.

@@staciefarrow3173 If Al had an issue with what he THOUGHT Claudia was making which is what started all of this mess, do you not think he would’ve had an issue if he felt Funky got a raise and no one else did!?!?!? All of them felt they were valuable for the show and they were. So if one person gets a raise and the others do not, it would’ve eventually caused problems for the rest of the show. Unfortunately, just “giving Funky a raise” would not have been enough to save the show because who’s to say that would’ve been enough??? The next six months he would’ve wanted another raise and where does that leave Al and Claudia on an ensemble show!?!? The best course of action would’ve been for ALL of THEM to band together for a raise. Unfortunately, Funky was just looking out for himself.

I think that roast brought out behind the scenes issues that we knew nothing about and while it may not have been the sole cause it was definitely like how do we come back from this 🤷🏽♀️. But yeah the chemistry was definitely off and you could really feel that between Al and Claudia . I think that friction between them was always there but Q was a buffer between them and helped calm those waters and one he bounced no one on the inside could help smooth that over 🤷🏽♀️ just a thought based on the few shows I saw after Q left. It seemed really strained after that .

Fox Soul had a new owner. That's why so many shows started getting canceled. The rating plummeted after Funky left and that put them next in line for being canceled. The roast wasn't the reason why. But apparently Al campaigning for the show to be canceled behind the scenes may have to weight to it.
The roast wasn't the issue, it was the spilling the behind the scenes tea.

The roast didn't end the show. The show was supposed to go on hiatus but never got renewed. It seems as of they were already in limbo. If the roast didn’t happen, the show would not have been cancelled today. You can claim whatever you want, but the very last thing to occur before the “hiatus”, was the roast.
The show already had problems brewing. The roast was just a last resort. Even if the roast didn’t occur, that show would’ve ended eventually because of other issues.
