Ing used to make Cucumber idli:
Idli rice - 3cups
Cucumber -2 small/
In village ripe cucumbers are used to prepare idli/dosa
Jaggery 1 bowl (250gm)or according to your sweet
Grated coconut - 1 med size coconut
Cardamom - 3 to 4
Salt - 3/4 tsp or as per taste
Eno/baking soda -3/4 tsp
Water
Ghee/oil

Yes you are right. Batter becomes thick after the fermentation because of the ingredients like coconut, cucumber, rice n jaggery.
