The hoverboard is constructed from an insulated core, containing HTSLs (high temperature superconducting blocks). These are housed in cryostats - reservoirs of liquid nitrogen that cool the superconductors to -197°C. The board is then placed above a track containing permanent magnets. For the DIYers... The bottom half of Mercruiser's out drive (Bravo series)... has counter rotating output shafts. Good for 725hp of torque. These boats are getting old enough to by pretty cheap. Just thought I would mention it.

I am also sorry about the Volocopter, seeing as none of the grass was moving below any part of the Volocopter from prop wash from the spinning blase's during warm up, take off, or hover look's like another CGI toy.

First test went better than IRON MAN 1.
Volocopter, maybe. Quadrecopters and people, not yet. If it doesn't glide or autorotate, it at the very least needs a safety chute. And that would only be effective above a certain altitude.
The last one is talking about absolute safety but it'snot really safe itself it has a really high centre of gravity which would make it prone to tipping
So... magnet railroads that require a track, and lighter helicopters...

What country is making that hoverboard where employees don't have to wear any safety equipment while handling liquid nitrogen or riding on the device without helmets and pads... they made video evidence that can be used against them. It's nice to see they are putting peoples health and safety above the R&D of something that will never see the light of day for consumer use.
