Kings & Queens - The Radium Girls

I finished reading a (SUPER AWESOME) book called The Radium Girls by Kate Moore late last month, which talks about the dark history behind the female radium dial painters in the early 1900’s. I already knew stuff about the Curies, their discovery of radium, and it’s awful effects on the human body, but I (ofc) learned a lot more in this book about other things too, and just how important these working class women were to not just the safety of workplaces, but humanity too.
