My idol growing up. He was the best forward ever in my opinion. Due to his height, what he was able to do. He was a genius in the goal era.
Romario is not human. He is CPU program who cant miss. I read somewhere 2 years ago that he is 87% finisher while Messi in career not even 68% Romario had less touch and still almost 90% percentage

Also, there is no mention in the video of The FIFA World Player of the Year award of 1994, that went to the Brazilian and Barcelona striker Romário, second place went to the Bulgarian Hristo Stoichkov (also of Barcelona) and third was Roberto Baggio of Italy and Juventus.

1) R9 would probably not have had his fit which came about from stress , as Romario would be sharing the pressure R9 was bearing alone. (And was more used to it - R9 was only 20).
2) even if R9 has a fit.. the problem for Brazil was the entire team being spooked about it on the bus as they didn’t understand it.. And they were all demoralised on the team bus on the way to the match. This affected the performance of the entire team that final. Had Romario been there his presence would have lifted all spirits.. that’s what his personality did.

Had they not lived the way they did, they might have had more longevity, but could not have been as great as they were.

Whenever São Pao played against Vasco I was scared due to this guy, he would score every single game! To this day, my father believes he was a better striker than Ronaldo. Best inside pitch striker imo
In Romarios defence,he never drank,did drugs etc he would be out partying and with the girls untill late,wake late ,go to the game at night and score 2 or 3 goals!😅 He also said that he would party on Friday when the game was on Sunday,and not Saturday,but who cares if you are one of the too scorers I'd all time?🚀💪 A complete player! In his own words,he was better than Messy in tbe penalty area 😁 but for me he is just as good in the penalty area.but also a awesome freekick taker,crosses,volleys lots of header goals,his balance,speed and trickery with the balls is on same level as Maradona and Messi.Romario passed the ball through Maradonas legs in.
