@@MrDorbel I just think back to my old kitchen when I was a kid. Everything and I mean everything in it was made in the UK. From the knives and forks which were made in Sheffield stainless, to the damn tiles on the kitchen floor. Now, I have nothing in my kitchen UK made. A NEF German oven and God alone knows where the cutlery came from.
@@ic08jy700 I too think it superior to make as much of what we need as possible at home, without having to ship it round the world, but that's where we've come to. The pendulum may swing back, now we've realised the damage that transport, particularly shipping, does to the planet. However, coal fired power stations are also obsolete and those chimneys can't just be left to fall down by themselves!
How high, how wide. How were they built? Easy to bring them down but but amazing to see them built. Don’t tell me there was a stairwell inside them and he view from the top was amazing.🤪
No stairs on the inside. If you want to see how they inspect them every year, and point tuck the brick for maintenance. Look up Fred Dibnah on UA-cam. They literally climb up the chimneys on ladders and fix them. These guys were very brave!
cheers....I use drones also for filming movies and my work....I lost one drone down the chinmey on the right, was trying to film coming out of the top and lost signal and it must of went all the way down...lol
Great video. Liked the fuse lighting bit. It's a pity we don't make things in this country anymore instead of knocking old sites down.
We do still make things, but life expired structures have to go to make way for new stuff!
