    Salasya is one if the best mps...i like the way he is free-style...he is never so serious with life n can cope with anything n socialises with everyone...salasya is the current maside muliro...he drives his thoughts in a joking manner...but its true, we need to have economists as either president like kibaki to cope with a shilling that is on a free fall

    A wonderful conversation amongst these youthful leaders. MP Molo you're in particular very clear and concise in your reasoning and expression with a good grasp of historical events vis a vie to British colonialism in Kenya, that continue to haunt us to date.

    The first 7 minutes are a clear reason why history is such an important lesson for Africa! To think that atrocities have an expiry date is as uninformed as thinking that the sun will fall on our heads if we close our eyes.
    Either Jeff or Citizen are pulling our tails with such kind of discussion from such politicians calling themselves leaders. Are these kind of ignorant fellows the kind that you want to represent Kenya? Lord forbid!
    Having said that, the lady does have great points, except she finds it challenging to stick to the topic.
    I shudder to imagine that these are the people we have to shape our future as Kenyans

    Honourable members who doesn't know if Britain should apologise to kenyans or not for the atrocities they committed to our country. Sorry state of affairs

  • @alcaneusyorro4881
    @alcaneusyorro4881 Рік тому +1

    They couldn't even fully comprehend the reason why the" king" should apologize to Kenyans. Wow, these are young members of Kenya's parliament. We have a long way to go.

  • @kandeda
    @kandeda Рік тому +1

    A good discussion but with the wrong pannel...
    This topic of apology wanted someone like Barrack Muluka ,PLO and the likes....

  • @melissajones9796
    @melissajones9796 Рік тому +3

    Can we start by visiting UK visa free! Otherwise apologizing by empty mouth doesn't count!

  • @MwendeSchwinn
    @MwendeSchwinn Рік тому +7

    Why have a panel that's completely clueless about matters colonialism? It is painful to listen to people who think colonialism ended 60years ago, when they are literally wearing British clothes and occupying positions in British style parliamentary system.

    • @kentosh120
      @kentosh120 Рік тому +5

      Singapore, India, Hong Kong were British colonies but they have moved on, 60 years of corruption in Kenya with nothing to show for.

    • @moriahminji
      @moriahminji Рік тому

      @@kentosh120true idk why Kenyans are now acting woke out of the blues. But are the first ones running to get green cards and citizenship to the west and pay taxes to finance these people.

    • @kevinmax25
      @kevinmax25 Рік тому

      Not to mention everyone wants to go to the west despite the fact of having the most resources of almost everything abundant here in Africa. I'm more concerned of the mental slavery that still persist. Our so called elites are mere colonizer puppets, they think as they've been taught and for 'white' validation, they'll easily sell us out just as they did in the colonial era. They've no self-esteem and will gravitate just as the world is programmed to gravitate to "whiteness". What the west have managed to do extremely well is to control the leadership in Africa. The lack of awareness, programmed media, programmed religion and ignorance among the populace is not helping either. Both governments and oppositions are on their payroll or influence so the status quo remains irrespective of who wins. If we can escape from these puppets and have an informed citizens with knowledge of their true history as opposed to these KANU,KADU and glorification of colonizers' conquests shenanigans, We will thrive.
      Asia managed to get less controlled leadership as they didn't have much natural resources and tribal rivalry that's easily spooked and manipulated to destruction. As for us, we are not FREE. Our minds, eyes and lifestyles have been shaped a certain way. A way that ensures we are suicidal in our collective progress. Give the black man his true history and he'll lift himself up. Everything great is in his DNA...at the moment, he sees himself through other people's lenses... the people that enjoy seeing him down. He needs to accept his race and think as such for collective progress as opposed to individualistic and tribal thinking because outside, our differences(features) means nothing as we are viewed and destroyed as one.

    But sir Charles 3 should assist compensating those passed on during the colonial masters especially sultan oman shurie of ijara who refused to secede to join greater somalia and was killed during the shifta war in 1954.

    The absentee land lord should be scrapped also the president and Parliament should ensure economic growth is realised .let us budget for our people than giving a diem to the conceptual west especially Britain. Britain should pay compensation for those who fought for this country like mauled mau, Northern Kenya should be improved in roads,agricultural and irrigation ,power and livestock abattoir for the livestock extra judicial killing should cease.
