i think they have to force to make low quality toy and different image from original version because of copyright issue. In the years 1997 to 2007, The toys made in China were copied exactly like the original but the quality was even better eg: super sentai Gaoranger, hurricaneger,v..v.. I remember those childhood days.

Yes it should be blue since that's Blades's crest, not Saber's. As for why the official sword was blue, the crest of the sword is interchangeable between the crests of all riders. When you change the crest you need to scan the sword with the driver so that it will change "modes" as it were. When you used it, it was in Nagare mode, not Rekka mode

@@pinkcarbonara If you mean Saber and Blades then yes, Saber is the main one, Blades is the first introduced secondary rider. If you mean Rekka and Nagare then no, those are the names of their swords. Saber has Rekka, Blades has Nagare

all of the riders have their name taken by either types of sword or more generic component. plus, there's one extra sword that it's his own thing (the early season mecha powerup used only a couple of times)
Just a small correction. Hilariously, for the bootleg books, the one aside from Calibur isn't even Saber. It's Falchion, the slight recolor/retool they introduced later. So, Saber isn't even present in this toy

The reason why the sword's effect was blue because it was in the Nagare mode. To make the effect turn red, just scan the emblem so the seiken will turn into Rekka mode
Lmao I had the same problem,but sadly it was second handed and the emblem doesnt work so my seiken stucked as nagare

the official Seiken has different sounds depending on which of the 3 emblems is scanned. I don't know if the toy came like that or if you scanned it yourself, but it recognized the wrong emblem, in this case Suiseiken Nagare (the blue one) instead of Kaenken Rekka (the red one)

The thing you’re supposed to do w/ the dried is to leave it in before putting in the Wonder Ride Books, as that plays the standby sounds, which leads to pulling it out for the henshin.

scan the symbol to the grey triangle on the blade tip - that changes the color/sword type
Okay, the reason why the light in your original dx seiken is blue because the default mode is Blades mode which use blue crest. You must scan the red crest first if you want to play as Saber
it should be clear why the light on the sword is blue and how to fix it (because many have explained it in the comments column).
I'll just add that Seiken Swordriver can scan 3 elements of swords. Fire (red) for Kamen rider Saber [Kaenken Rekka], Water (blue) for Kamen rider Blades [Suiseiken Nagare], and Thunder (yellow) for Kamen rider Espada [Raimeiken Ikazuchi].
The bootleg would be great for a kit basher to make a custom driver for an OC. Probably make it a wrist or hip mounted Dagger for its size.

on the official driver scan the hilt of the sword (take it off the sword and touch it to the Tip over the symbol of an opening book) and it should light up red

You didn't scan the crest that's why it's blue mode (suiseiken nagare)... It's because the driver used for 3 different rider (saber, blades and espada) with 3 different mode (crest).

- you sorta did it wrong, the sword is only meant to be drawn during the transformation not before it just to put the Rekka and draw it again, although you had to turn it on so makes sense (officially toy)
