I like Assassin's Creed, but sometimes I don't like that I like Assassin's Creed. Assassin's Creed: Mirage seems like a stripped down version of where the series' ambition and potential lie. It hits some great nostalgic beats, and in many ways nails the vibe of an Assassin's Creed game - some would say it's a mirage of what this series once was..
hello brother, i came from Neuromancer channel and so glad I did. Both of you are the best game analysts in India now aur kitna alag bhi. Two different viewpoints and this makes it so much easier to make a decision to buy the game or not. God bless both.
Haha thanks man - don't worry this format might help me be more regular, but the green screen vids will always be my favorite to make so they'll keep coming
this eagle mechanic has become a crutch.. ubisoft doesnt have to think much about complex interior structure or enemy placement when it is all meant to to be seen by an overhead drone (eagle)
AC Mirage best part is that it feels like old AC games but it's the worst part too. Old games like AC2 , 3 or even Unity still feels great to play. This game lacks the soul of an AC game since there is no modern day or even a decent story to compliment. Some could say Basim was more interesting in Valhalla. Also for some reason Bagdadh doesn't feel that good of a location. It fails to grasp the new feeling of exploring a location.
Imo the series lost track after ac3. the modern day story, desmind, the ones who came before, the pieces of eden.... It was SOOOOOO good. Also the so called "old style ac" Design is also outdated as much as we used to love it earlier. Iremember waiting for ac 3 in AWE after the amazing story of revelations. But these days the story has got woke and directionless. I knew it would fail🇮🇳🙏baki bhai pls do an indepth review of hitman series (classic games to the latest trilogy) it's one of my fav and I think india me bhot hitman fans hain.
Yeah, a lot of what what we remember from the old games is tinted by nostalgia.. Hopefully Ubi can make another one of these that truly modernizes the series wile maintaining the charm
I finished it in 16 hours in two days. My main gripe is the story as a whole. It feels very mediocre. Basim has to be my least favorite assassin out of the lot. Otherwise, it's a fun little throwback. Definitely feels like a stripped-down AC Valhalla with a stealth system. Also, Baghdad has to be my favorite setting. Then again, I love the Mesopotamian region and its cultures so there is that.
I agree with the setting looking great, but it really feels like we've seen this before and in more than one game.. but also a truly new setting and even time period will demand that ubisoft changes up the formula.. ye haystacks, tower climbs, etc ke replacements nikaalne padenge definitely a fun throwback!
@@VideogameWonderland i just hope the next mainline don't bloat the game with nonsense. That is my main issue with Valhalla, which is otherwise a fun game.
IMO instead of juicing AC franchise and making similar kind of games ubisoft should focus more on Prince of Persia or something else. But the truth is in the end its all about the revenue.
New IPs could be great, but if the same mechanics are going to get pasted across IPs then kya hi farak padta hai.. the tower system, the eagle/drone, marking enemies.. The best thing Ubi did were the locations/settings, and ab toh woh bhi same lagne lag rahe hai
You really need to have a plan for what you're gonna say in your videos. I saw the entire thing and all it had was you mumbling without expressing much. It felt undercooked, anyways this review is halfbaked as you're here playing only like 60-70% of it. It's ok to have your review come later than others but just don't open the camera and go ahead. I only say this for your channel's goodwill. Such offerings do not cast a decent shadow.
Hey man, totally fair criticism - I agree, and if you've seen my channel you'll know that I try my best to have some level of quality. So I appreciate the comment. But.. This is not the first (or even the 50th) time I am doing this, so everything you said is something I already pondered/thought about for a reasonable amount of time. I am not the best at random flow of thoughts talking, hence I keep a lot of notes. But it's easier to refer notes when I have someone else with me to bounce off of, like I do on podcasts. I agree this review is half baked - but if Ubi can repurpose a DLC into a full release game, then it's all fair game to me. I also know that my review can come whenever I want it to - trust me to make that call. For Mirage, it was either this or nothing. For Valhalla, my review came 100 days post release.. Also, I appreciate it, but don't worry about 'goodwill' or 'decent shadow'. It's an unmonetized channel that I run for my fun. Anyways, looks like my half baked opinion covers the most of what this game has to offer - maybe the problem is more with the game that my opinion. Cheers!

You covered everything I couldn't cover in my review. Your raw unfiltered review, is always better than any scripted one.
Thanks Imran, that gives me a lot of confidence! Also, loved your video - wonderfully narrated and presented!

This game feels like a dlc of AC origins tbh.
That’s a great review man! I’d really love to try it for the nostalgia. AC brotherhood was one of the best experiences for me as a kid.
Oh yes, totally worth it for some nostalgia hits - plus it looks great!
Your green screen comedic video review are really good please make video like this only because u post a video once in 4 + month

This game is too beautiful!!!
Agreed, very pretty
JUST 1 QUE WORTH IT OR NOT? STORY WISE
Not much story here unfortunately.. But if you're interested in AC in general, it's fun to play no doubt

Will stream tomorrow night for sure
Manas bhai i agree with all of your points specially vo call of duty vala example also agree with your score
thank you - but take my score with a pinch of salt, i am way to invested in the ethos of the series.. so i can be a bit too critical
cover gta assassin and Zazzar drama quick

Good Job
Me to khelne hi nahi wala , im done with AC, they all feel the same.
Kuch naya karo yaar, tower climb kar kar ke haath laal ho gaya hai.
tower climbs bhi fun hote if they had variety in terms of how you get to the top.. HFW is a great example of varied tower climbs
Tower climbing is fun, check zelda botw
@@Praxss Played a ton of BOTW, streamed it too - the tower climbs there don't overstay their welcome, and have some good challenges to it too
