I just started listening to you and I want to thank you for sharing what you share with us. We don't have a worship leader but we do try with all the new people with instruments and singing. But I know that when my heart is not right with God I cannot play my bass and I can feel the life in my chest when I play for him. But I just want to say thank you I learned a lot with this UA-cam and Worship U.
Sometimes when I'm leading at a place that has a limited amount of time I will have a couple songs that have a good message and then have a few choruses from other songs that match up well with those. Choruses that most people know. It becomes a "spontaneous" moment for those who are not used to all out "spontaneous" (completely "written" in the moment) worship in. It's especially easy for the congregation if the chord progression is almost the same to transition into the chorus. It's just one thought among many. I've always had a heart for helping people get from point A to point B. Not just trying to expect them to suddenly all break out in a new song. Most gatherings just aren't there. Some are. lol In fact some are already there before we even start the first word of a "planned" song lol. Those are the places I just feel like I'm along for the ride :)
Sooo do you set your songs as a praise and worship leader for the people or for God ? Like how do u determined what songs ? For the anointing is it sings for him or songs to get the crowd all on one accord
he needs to stay in the anointing God has for him, to step out of his anointing would be disastrous, to share occasionally is awesome, butr stay where God has you.
20:30 is it really affecting or making impact in such a short amount of time in mans way of doing things? May god use you guys to break out of mans norm. God has no time limit but we do and that's never a good thing no matter how big a ministry is, it doesn't matter cuz god is still bigger than any ministry. Don't get sucked into mainstream Christianity.
The Beatles? The ones who signed a contract with their own blood? I don't think there's anything prophetic in them or their songs.... Gods glory will not fill up the place with any ungodly secular music. Plain and simple.
Didn't Jesus sign a contract with his blood? I'm not defending what the Beatles did but I am saying don't be so quick to place God in a box and limit how he communicates with his people. If he can speak thru Balaams donkey he can certainly use a secular song
I don't like this guy. His main message is wow I have this secret I just found out. It's called practicality. To me this is not encouraging, but lowering your freedom.
Shawn Cyr you’re not God and it’s not yr place to tell Him what He can and can’t use. Please take off yr religious hat and see what Jesus did. Listen to the words Jesus is saying. I love you and I want to be w you. That is scriptural. Oh and the Beetles NEVER signed anything in blood. That’s just plain silly.
I don't believe it is wrong to say that, it's ultimately the message that should go through. What matters? The delivery of the message or the message being delivered?
Being a 'pastor' is pretty freaking inappropriate in itself. If people actually read their Bible they would understand that Christ is the pastor and we are all sheep. Pastor is the term we should call elders but we call them 'pastors' because we try to put these flawed people up on a pedestal where they can then receive the praises of men. It makes all of us who are fallen feel better about ourselves rather than actually following a sinless Holy Most High God.
God is so much bigger than a timeframe 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Watch Jeremy kiddle's video on how to prepare a setlist
Pastor Brian is bringing back the #MILK
I wonder what did Brian say that somehow the video got disliked?
Because People think Bethel teaches false doctrine and stuffs. 😢
You need to preach more. Have you written any books?

I thought Brian Johnson sang for AC/DC?
Obviously
Can anyone share where to hear more on "being a bridge" that Brian mentioned?
Sefora C look up for "stewarding God's presence" Bill Johnson might have a sermon about it on YT. He preached it last year at the School of Worship.
Y E S ! ! ! ! ! ! !

God is outside of time; it is subject to Him. Therefore, he can do or cause us to experience in one minute what we would think should take hours....
Man, now I want to find the first time he sang "one thing"!

Drew Fisher it’s not being practical, it’s being led by God’s Spirit. Big difference.
Amen
I've never heard a pastor use the word "freaking" in church. Hmmm.... I don't think it is appropriate.
Deborah Parker I've never met a perfect Christian in church..hmm maybe they're not Christian?? Hahahaha
I don't believe it is wrong to say that, it's ultimately the message that should go through. What matters? The delivery of the message or the message being delivered?
chill hes not using a bad word
I love it. Google Glennon Doyle. It shows Brian is trying to really make a point.
