we enjoy it as a 2p game, it's a fun little abstract game. Not going to make a top 10 list for me, but it was enjoyable, especially if we have fun with the theme on it.

I bought it and brought it to game day and 3 of us came away with a similar feel for it. I wonder if, when you get a perfect match, instead - you collect that card for the multiplier, opening up a table spot for more customers would help... I also wonder if, in a non-perfect match, you remove any non matching food from the table and require all tables to be full at end of game, it might encourage you to play customers just to clear spots out...
I wanted so much to be thrilled with it, sort of a table top version of the app Fast Food.

Thanks for the review! For a better medieval tavern themed game I would recommend the Ugly Gryphon Inn from Button Shy games. Seems like D&D missed the potential on this one.

8:50 there is an error in the scoring example. It is 5 gems times 6 VP symbols (not 5). The draw decks are included in final scoring.

Hi ! Thx for this video.
I 'm french and i try to ask my question....
"Can I place an enchantment potion to trigger a perfect service and then have a perfect service again by arranging the right ingredients?"
    Thanks you

One of the most famous of D&D taverns ever with a stone well that leads to endless dungeon delving goodness and the game is about food?
    Ppppllllttttt!!!!!!

Yah i saw this come up in suggestions and thought from the picture , "hey this sounds interesting" even though im not a big dnd fanatic, im decently aware of some lore and places.
But then once i find out its just another serving people at restaurant game.
      Blaaaaahhh
I dont know exactly what else i imagined it could possibly be, but maybe had brawling or trading or plotting adventures.

Best description ever: "Whatever, whatever, whatever...D&D".

Playing as a 1 player was pretty tense, makes the game like a puzzle serving guests in order

I get that the game overview isn't a rules teach but I think you could have probably cleaned up that teach a bit

Definitely needs to practice before filming, and maybe script it out in point form.

My OCD went crazy seen the board in a vertical position and all that wasted space on the sides. 🤪

So, it's the opposite of Tyrants of the Underdark in that it looks good but gameplay is lacking.

This game has the most meta name in board gaming.

I enjoyed this one. I like the unique theme, and I like the take that, and the general chaos of it. I'm sorry y'all didn't like it, but I feel like you missed something in your plays. My plays have been fun.

Bummer, but not surprising. Would have at least liked stronger thematic ties. As you guys said, it's just so mechanical.

Most of the dnd boardgames are trash. Not surprising since they're owned by hasbro

Lords of Waterdeep is good, but for a brilliant game you need Conquest of Nerath.
      D&D + Axis and Allies = Phenomenal!

Tyrants of the Underdark is also pretty good.

Their rating and the description does not match. A 6 is "almost good", which their description does not match. Based on what they said, it should have been a 3.5 and a 4.5..."Didn't hate it but disliked it" means lower than 5 and higher than 3.

When I saw this video in my feed, I thought it was a review of the new Dungeons and Dragons film from a critic who didn't enjoy it. I sincerely hope the person responsible for naming this game wasn't given a raise. The publisher needs to change the title. Does the person who named it find role playing is boring? Not a good business move.

The Yawning Portal is arguably the most famous inn in all of D&D.
