About Fifty years ago we had a flooding carb of Our Avery. Bad Float. So we cut the bottom out of the float. and cut cork to fit in there. We varnished the cork, It worked pretty good.
We bought a knock off of the marvel carb and installed it on our Super A Farmall. And so far it has worked very well. Brand new carb for $40 . it worked so well be bought two more. and intend to install them on our BF Avery and Vac case tractors.
I love the marvel shebler carbs and most of the copys are close enough that the work just as well! The zenith carbs have been absolutely awful. No matter how much I adjust it, it continues to run rich and has a very high idle. It has no vacuum leaks and the air cleaner is not clogged. Thanks for watching!
