We are pleased to announce the release of a new serie of kumihimo bracelets starting from March 31st.
These bracelets are the result of Tozaburohimo's renowned experience dating back to 1867.
They're made using silk threads and natural stones. The manifacturing process (dyeing, thread reeling and braiding) is hand made.
5 colors available matched with a gemstone of the same color: red with garnet, green with jade, purple with amethyst, blue with lapis lazuli, and black with onyx.

3月31日より，【藤三郎紐】と【京都あさひ屋】の新コラボ作品が販売開始いたします。今回の組紐ブレスレットは、1867年創業の藤三郎紐が手がけました。
天然石とシルクの糸を使用し、二種類の組み方を合わせたデザインにしました。現在のカラー展開は赤、緑、紫、青、黒の５色でございます。
とめの部分は組紐の色に合わせた天然石を使用しております。赤はガーネット、緑は翡翠、紫は紫水晶、青はラピスラズリ、黒はオニキスを組み合わせております。
「染め」も、「組み」も、すべて手作業にこだわって制作し、手作業でしか作れないオリジナルのデザインも今回実現できました。

Are you looking for a new kind of experience to get in touch with Japanese culture? Why not try to make your kumihimo and bring it back home as a special souvenir from Japan? You will get to know more about the traditional Japanese art of braiding silk threads and you'll have the chance to see the skilled artisans at work.
You will be creating your own kumihimo using kakudai (square frame) and choosing your desidered item among two types of bracelets and a keyholder. You can choose up to 4 different colors. You will be guided by the artisans during the process, who will also give you interesting insights into the history of kumihimo and the traditional looms still used today. Our staff will provide translations in English.
