    To hook a salmon on the Puyallup right there practically in the city is so awesome! Plus Kaye had one on earlier. Clearly you are doing things right. Keep at it!

    Two tips that have helped me, do with it what u want :) 1) I use high vis line or braid, so u can see where your fish is at (or your net person) when u r a distance away., and 2) move with the fish....not saying it would have mattered but I do know your chances of loosing one goes up with the longer amount of line u have out-more stretch and more way to hook come loose etc. Keep up the great videos.

      Thank you so much for the tips! We keep talking about what we could've done better as we watch the video. Will definitely take your tips specially moving with the fish. For some reason, we didn't even move from where we initially hooked up the fish. Guess we were taken by surprise and just wanted to land the fish!

    awesome video man! kings pull hard sometimes just depends on how its hooked not much you can do about that

      Thank you! We still re-watch the video and identify where we could have done better. Surprisingly, the line was fully in tact and didn't break off.
