    Hi Lori!!! Just love, love, love the wreath!!! You know red, white and blue is my fav!!! Hope you had a great weekend. Went to Hobby Lobby and Joanns over the weekend. The red, white and blue stuff wasn't one sale yet at Hobby Lobby. Maybe this week. I haven't checked the ad yet. I did get MORE RIBBON at Joanns. Omg I'm addicted to ribbon. I just love it and of course its red, white and blue. Lol. Well, hope you have a great day. What's planned for Thursday's video??? Can't wait!!!

    Before I started making wreaths, I would go on Etsy and see them for $100 to $300 and thought that was crazy but now I have found that material alone is $45 to $80 so it all makes sense now lol. I so love your videos and look forward to them more then any other channel. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful wreaths with us :)

      +Hard Working Mom Oh I forgot to ask a question if that's ok? What are the main sizes for work wreaths if I want to get it just one size down from the one you made in the video? And on this wreath that you made, did you end up leaving the ties sticking up or did you do something different with them? I'm getting ready to make a summer wreath and your summer wreath gave me so much inspiration :) Thank you so much!!

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  7 років тому

      I use the 15-24 inch so i would go with a 12 or 14 inch. If my ties match really well I leave them up if notI wrap them around a pencil to make them disappear. I left them out on this one. Oh I am so glad it inspired you. I would love if you come to my facebook page and post your creation. I love to see what others come up with.

      I am covering these three bottles with this summer theme napkins to place on my newly painted back porch table, a tulle wreath (the furry look) to place on my bathroom door with a sea world theme and my garland for my dinning room. Oh maybe four, I found these cute little ceramic ice cream cones which I am going to make the tip out of coffee filters which I hope well look like ice cream. We just had some work done on our home and plus I work part-time job and I have been busy. For my down time for right now is to prep what I am working on a little at a time. I have been painting, garden, cleaning and decorating. I just finish my 2017 Jewelry Collection the first of April. Since then I made three wreath, one is a version of your summer wreath(flip flops) which I love!!! Did not mean to go on and on. I will be waiting for some more inspiration!!!

    I saw the swag. Its very nice too. All your work is nice!!! I love the way you teach. I think wreaths are more my thing. Its actually something I can do and they come out nice. Lol how bout another wreath for next video. I saw a new method the other day on UA-cam using 21" mesh. I can't remember who did it. I would have to look again. Looks interesting though and I want to try it. I usually use 10" mesh cause like working with it. 21" is a harder but this method seems a little easier. Its where you take it at a diagonal and kind of curl in the ends and fold it in half then scrunch it and put into twist tie. Would for you to show us that method if you could.

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  7 років тому +1

      My heart is always to do wreaths but sometimes i do other things just to make a short change. It helps me to think of other ideas lol. Oh is the wreath the ruffle with 21in? I can do that method. That is a great idea. I will do that. I know 2 mehtods for that. I will o the diaginal first.

      @craftingwithhwm  6 місяців тому

    • @MelissaLeen
      @MelissaLeen 6 місяців тому

      @@craftingwithhwm I meant that it made the eighteen ruffles but no matter how I fluffed them it then wasn't enough to hide my Xmas tree form, you could still see the wire with in the mesh. Please help. I have loved your videos and have bought a lot from craft outlet to make wreaths hoping to be successful.

      Oh I’m sorry I misunderstood you. So I would recommend using two rolls of Mesh if you’re just doing Ruffles. I cut my Ruffles 30” long to get the best coverage. In this video, I used a total of 30” of Mesh per tie. It’s also very important to ruffle the edges of the Mesh in each tie so it connects the two a lot better. You won’t need two full rolls of Mesh and will have extra leftover. I hope that helps. Lori

    Your wreaths are the prettiest wreaths I’ve ever seen,ma’am!!! I really love everything you used to make it look as patriotic as possible. Me and my mom are wanting to make one that looks exactly like the one you made in this video. Would it be a good idea to order these materials at a specific arts and crafts website or would it be cheaper to buy them at a local arts and crafts store? Oh,do you make all kinds of these wreaths for every occasion and or season? Do you make and sell them? How do you make those things that you wrap the ribbons around before you cut them,and what sizes?

  • @Piper.0317

    I have a 14" wreath and I put mesh on all 4 rungs on each of the 6 sections, and I put two sets of mesh per ring (so a total of 48 sets of 3 different colors of mesh). It is very tight/full. I'm getting ready to add ribbons, tubing, pumpkins, leaves, etc... I added more sets of mesh because I could see some of the wire wreath behind the mesh. Is this way to tight of a wreath. I wish I could send you a picture, but think I can on here. Thank you for your help. I greatly appreciate your suggestions. /Mary

    When you spray your wreaths do you spray the front and back side? Or just one side? Please get back to me I'd appreciate your time. Sincerely, Maribeth

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  6 років тому +1

      Maribeth, I do a very light coating. I use E6000 its very good spray. Other are very thick and it takes a long time to dry. So when you, do spray them try to spray it from a little far not to close. Usually, I do both sides and also remember it will fray a little. Not all mesh are the same quality. Thank you.

    Hi, I'm a new subbie. How do you know how long to cut your mesh (I've watched three of your videos so far and all of the lengths have been different)? How do you finish off your tinsel ties? Would you share who your wholesaler is. Thank you!!

  • @maribethkasper4917

    To hide the wire on the hat would you use a red twirl stick and run it right up the stem connected to the hat? Maybe hot glue it in place? What are your thoughts?

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  6 років тому

      Maribeth, if you could see they come with a long wired stem its bendable and you could either do as I did or you could also, cut it all off and you could hot glued it. And, yes if you don't want for the stem to show you could use a red chenille stem and twirl it all around and tie it to the back of the wired frame. I hope, I was able to help you. Thank you.

    Love this. I had just bought a 16 inch work frame and a roll each of red, white, and bright green 10 inch deco mesh to try this method with for a snowman sign i found at Hobby Lobby. Question, do you think cutting in 30 inch lengths is too long? I saw you cut them that long on another video to help with fraying?

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  7 років тому

      Thank you Shelia if you are doing ruffles then it is not too long to cut.
