- I had no planed route for my trip through Allegheny National Forest. I just wanted to ride as long as I possibley could on the fire roads without getting completely lost or stuck somewhere with no help in sight.
Red Bridge is my hunting area. Mead Run is the road you were going to take. That's where I spend a lot of time up in there.
I absolutely love it there. Do you bear 🐻 hunt as well?
Great video really enjoyed watching. I haven’t ridden much this year due to a bulging disc
keep them coming!
Thanks 😊 Sorry to hear that about your back. Hopefully you get some relief. I didn’t ride much in July because I have developed serious ear ringing that has made everything very difficult lately. Im really hoping I’m feeling up to riding next week as I have some big plans.
What gps system is that? Thanks! Nice video!😊
It’s the Garmin XT. It has free trial maps that actually work pretty well. I don’t really love this GPS over all. It feels like a device that hasn’t been updated in 20 years. The search feature is awful because it use four square to find landmarks, gas stations and the like. I’ve have been really lost because of this thing. But if your following a premade gxp route it does well. Even like this trip I had no idea where I was going it is easy to follow the trails. My favorite feature Tracks where it records you path. That makes it easy to share a route or find your why out if your lost.
Is this the area I said across 59 from the campground on 59?
I am heading up there soon on my duelsport
This video is mostly up by the Seneca Pumped Storage Area
I hope you get cooler weather
Timberdoodle flats area???
No I haven’t rode that yet but very close to that area. I’ll check it out next time.
