John Eyzen was born to be on stage. You can see his passion and talents. I'm a film lover, I don't watch musicals much. When I watch R&J, I focus more on the acting and I was impressed by his outstanding performance.
Amazing video, I like those parts with John Eyzen, im my opinion its are the most emotional and powerful - but this italian version is also very good, but I'm pretty sure that no one except Eyzen could act this part like this, maybe I'm wrong but it's my opinion ;)
La version de 2001 est la meilleure. On voit la réaction de Tybalt. Il pensait que Mercutio jouait la comédie puis il s'est rendu compte qu'il l'avait vraiment tué. Et il s'en veut. Pour lui c'était encore un de leurs jeux
John Eyzen is the perfect Mercutio, you can't change my mind, and Tom Ross ist the ideal Tybalt. But i love the Russian version from 2005, because their Tybalt really looks devastated when he realizes what happend, he even reaches out to Mercutio and wants to go to him. I love that, Tybalt is no idiot, he know's that he fucked up and most versions show that, but I love me some more interpretation in their relationship then just hate and being enemies :3
I don't know his name but how did the guy who played Mercutio in the Hungarian version not hurt himself from falling on the stage so hard. I mean damn.
The Great Hufflepuff his name is Zoltán Bereczki, and in my opinion you really need to have a full controle over your movements to do things he did in this musical/ scene.

John, l'interprète mieux que Philippe aussi bien pour le personnage que la couleur parce Mercutio n'appartient à aucune des deux familles, d'où l'énergie est vague le mélange du bleu et du rouge donne le violet ( même si Mercutio a choisi son camp il ne peut pas se permettre de porter du bleu comme dans la version 2001 ) donc je vote John Eyzen pour Mercutio . Version 2010 France Mercutio est mon personnage préféré dans cette tragédie 😢💜
Could you please tell me where did you find the Netherlands part or give me some tips about how to find more audios of Belgium R&J (besides its album)? :-) I really want to know more about this version!
actually cause 1) The English version was a failure. The annoying backing tracks, shitty lyrics, and always, English version of French musicals dont end up well (except Notre-dame de Paris perhaps, cause most of the cast were from the original company). 2) Not all the adaptations of French musicals have a pro-shot video. And probably even West End audience then doesnt even bother to record a bootleg video.

ah actually I don't speak Japanese. But as I can remember, someone translated all songs (and probably some of the dialogues) of the Tarazuka version on Tumblr.
Je n'avais jamais vu la version de Mercucio joué par John Eyze. Waw je trouve ça vraiment mauvais. Il joue mal, le personnage ne semble pas insouciant mais fou, avec une grosse touche de féminité qui n'est pas du tout le cas du personnage initiale. Philippe d'Avilla était bien meilleur selon moi.

actually I got the audio (from 2003 or 2004 Netherlands tour production) years ago through a trading.
