Hopefully, all his questions would have been answered if he had paid his way to the United States to get answers to all the questions he had and also get fully educated on the role of the IMF and World Bank globally. His voluntary attendance would have demonstrated how patriotic he is as a citizen of Nigeria. Removal of fuel subsidy and speculators contributed to the naira jumping from 750 to 1900.
The Govt has only dealt with the part that was not caused by them which is the speculators. That explain the gains so far.
As regards subisdy, significant production and increased export is what the Govt needs to work on.

How exactly is this attributable to your dangote? If anything, dangote's refinery, as it is currently operating, would not favour Naira's value. Dangote is importing the petroleum products it is refining.
The Finance Minister is not saying the whole truth. The idea that Naira is the best performing currency is nothing but a joke - they are defending the currency with every dollar they have or saved after foolishly floating the currency. Until Naira start dropping below the PMB era towards Jonathan era, that is when we can consider Naira to be performing. Currently, what we have is a maradonic economy.

Inflation won't start trending downwards instantly, it will take a bit of time, but it will eventually. However, the growth rate for last month's inflation rate was slower than the previous month, perhaps signaling that the downward trend might be imminent. Borrowing from foreign countries to stimulate the economy is a no solution because they inherited debts that are difficult to manage and only way is to continue to increase the debts carried forward with higher inflation out of control. Every commodities prices will continue to rise because no manufacturing base to earn the real foreign exchange. The depends on remittances from Nigerians living abroad who usually sends money to families at home, yearly around $25 billion dollars. It shows the rise in Naira against the pounds or dollars is not as a result of production but something else. That means they are using our reserve to strengthen the naira.

Though Naira has been gaining some value it is significantly surprising that CFA is valued far more than Naira. 10,000 CFA is valued at $16.27 while 10,000 naira is valued at $8.71. Don't recall when CFA was valued more than Naira beside Nigeria is energy producing country with additional Petroleum products generating additional revenue. so it is mind boggling that even at this current valued rate it is far lower than the CFA. So it appears Mr Edun and Cardoso have long way to go. Beside it is not certain that this Naira appreciation would be holding from now.

Those people criticizing this Government are not just haters they are Seen what you are too foolish to see
This Government met naira at around 750 per dollar and took it to almost 3000 per dollar,they returned it to around 1250 per dollar so why are you praising them ?
We all have to criticize them to return it back to 700 per dollar and then start their own work to bring it down further then we all will praise and appreciate them
