Great questions - as I understand it, they will not issue an additional license as that is a separate unit. That being said, I've not checked with the municipality on this exact scenario - I'll follow up if I get a more concrete answer.

Municipal government has too much power over your property. Don’t even mention Quinte Conservation that is against expansion and home building
