Always good to see you are still safe! And what's more, You're showing off one of the many reasons I want to be a blacksmith. Even the left overs of old projects have a use, they're just waiting for it to be discovered.

@Doug Adams Blacksmiths also make nails, armor, keys, and the tools of their trade among many other things. It isn't purely ornamental. Pro tip. Don't treat people as if they know nothing. You learn more when you ask questions rather than lecturing from a place of perceived superiority. Furthermore, blade smith is a new age distinction. Fundamentally there is no difference between a blade smith and a blacksmith. At the end of the day you are using fire and variety of heavy tools to repeating hit metal and force it into a new shape, but there is a lot of skill to be learned in the craft, and a blade smith is little more than a blacksmith who specializes in making blades.

@Doug Adams Historically a Blacksmith was the man you went to for any kind of metal work. From nails to hold your wagon, boat or house together, through to shoeing a Horse and making/repairing weapons and armour. He was a vital part of any community up until the industrial revolution and even today in much of the world his skills are still much in demand and need.

Shurap, I tried to find direct contact info and was not able to locate it. I ran across another youtube account that I am concerned might be a reupload of some of your work, account is "Forge Insider" and the video is " An Incredibly Sharp And Strong Knife That I Made \ ASMR ", a container damascus piece made from cable. I thought they might have been taking a page from you when they added spice to the container, then when they made tea and cut it off there, it seemed like they might have trimmed out the maker's mark portion of the video so as not to be caught. If it is not your work, by all means disregard, but I thought you should be aware of this potential issue.

Love the finger flip on the slag during the twisting. That's when you know your fingers are made from the craft.

An interesting experiment, and I think it suggests another kind of pattern that can be welded together; a mosaic. That tile-like difference in steels with the dolphins and the sun really makes me think of stained glass or old Roman mosaics.
Love your work; keep safe and Slava Ukrainii.

Recycling is another level with Dmitry. Very nice, very classy. Most of people who lived through communism, tough times and wars, instantly understood the blackout and the need for a generator. Thanks for keeping it real.

As a person who has spent most of his life in the kitchen, my hands have developed a strong resistance to heat and fire.
But this dude has those next level, fireproof, Ove Gloves for hands.

I know these videos can be repetitive, but the process is the same. However the initial preps are different and the skill is very apparent always there. I always enjoy these and how the end goals turn out. I don't get bored watching your videos.

For some reason I really enjoy the sound of that green hammer. It's my favourite part of your process.

Dmitry - another work of art and one of the nicest patterns you have produced. Stay safe my friend.
