Awesome! I'm a huge fan of Kenny Burrell, who at the age of 91 is still with us. His huge Wikipedia resume of all his recordings with just about every great name in jazz is incredible. There are very few musicians alive today who can match Mr. Burrell's legacy. He's a musician's musician, and a guitar player's guitar player, the kind we all look up to. His superb taste and tone and musicality has been recognized by everybody from Coltrane to Jimmy Smith to Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, to Billie Holiday and Tony Bennett. The list goes on. PS--- the Telecaster sounds great! What strings are you using?
Hi Joe! KB is absolutely phenomenal and an inspiration to us all! I couldn't agree more! Thanks - I was using 8-38s and now use 9-42. My left arm has been through serious damage in a road accident and I don't have full range of motion or strength, hence the light strings
Great mate & enjoyed reading your notes on it, lots to learn!
Thanks Joel!
Love this album so much - thank you!
Cheers David
