Man, so many memories from the 90's. (TV show) 227, (rappers and groups), Da-Brat, Common, Bone Thugs-n-harmony, Busta Rhymes, 69 Boyz, Quad City DJ's, Luke Sky Walker and 2 Live Crew, (Movie) Love Jones, The Wood, Harlem Nights, Waiting To Exhale and the lists go on and on.
I was traumatized by them forgetting Busta and Bone 😂 😂 😂.

No one mentioning Mint Condition definitely broke my heart. Two Can Play at That Game was crucial to my understanding of femininity despite being 2001. The 90s were absolutely the best era from a 90's borne baby.
Chance and Tab may never read this but you two, in an inspirational way, have helped me desire to keep working on my marriage of almost 5 years. Thank you!
I relate to this. My ex is in prison so everytime that I struggle with the lack of communication as we figure things out, I watch Tab and Chance to remind me that if they could weave their story together, maybe theyre still is hope for us despite all the false allegations and turmoil preceding that. They save love should be a simple action but that gets hard to focus on in acting principle and instead of just seeing it as a hazy concept.
Being that I'm 61 now but look 49ish... lol.. the 70's and 80's were the best. We had SOULLLL TRAIN.
Music didn't have labels and white people were wearing Afros. We all got along. The Disco Era and real Hip Hop was King.

Yep, I'm 52 and got mistaken for someone in my early twenties (I was like how, but thanks anyway....but HOW???🤣) and the late 70's and 80's will always have my allegiance although I definitely have respect for the 90's! ✊🏾

..and record the music to tape from the radio and then play/stop it to write down the lyrics.. that was for those of us who couldn't afford the cds.. lol.. I had a whole notebook of handwritten lyrics

Our music from the 90s is classic. We can listen to it, the younger generation can listen and enjoy it, older generation too. Dont think our kids will have such a long list. And thank you Tab for saying Sade too! Started listening to her around age 15.

This is one of my favorite episodes. I literally smiled and laughed the entire episode. The 90s was my running around years. I was the class of 97; I can so relate to everything y'all were talking about.

I graduated in 1990, first time in ATL for summer before college 17 years old, the best time! I remember came home and the KY Fair had soul night and they had EU!! Baby a great time.....booties was all in the air!! GOGO Music, Reggae, Rap, New Jack Swing, West Coast, the South, East Coast, Bad Boy, Wu Tang, SO SO Deff, Master P, Goodie Mob, OutKast ( Atlanta was so proud) ..... First time home from college one of my best friends still in High School asked me to drive her down to the hotel where Digital Under Ground was having a party and she wanted to met this dude called Tupac. Real talk..... I didn't go in and waited in car. She came back and was talking how sweet he was and gave her a hug! The 90's for me was college, freedom, blackness, visiting all over the US. ........ I love the reminiscence of a time where growing up was fun!🥰 However... I absolutely love how "age really is nothing but a number". Your soulmate is really a kindred spirit. I absolutely love flannels, hoodies, high tops and jeans. I can't see myself ever outgrowing them for years to come with God's help.👍🏾💯
You ain’t lied the 90’s was awesome. The movies, the clothing, the MUSIC. Remember the music countdown on New Year’s Eve on BET and also remember Free and AJ on 106 & Park. I was sad when Free was replaced, it wasn’t the same. Remember the slow jam countdown in the night on the radio and also BET after dark. Man I miss back in the days when we had to be home when the street lights went out or walk to school and our parents didn’t have to worry sick about our wellbeing like nowadays.
