    Hey Sorors,
So I was actually brought here by my dad (who's a Sigma) that happened upon this blog post about a Caucasian student in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and her views about all the attention she had received after this video was posted. Let me just start off by saying, I don't know specifically where you're coming from, Laura, but my spec is caucasian as well and she gets a ton of looks when we're all out in peri. Nobody ever says anything though because they know that if they step up to one of us, they get all of us so i'm glad our Sorors at UF have your back, as they should! Where I can relate to you is how our yard show video went viral and then people found out I was basically gay. I just graduated college but during my time in undergrad, I was often referred to as that "Gay AKA" which was annoying but my Sorors/friends knew who I was and what I stood for so it really didn't matter much to me what anyone said about me..and it still doesn't. Which is why I'm commenting; I think it's remarkable that you joined our phenomenal organization and quite frankly show what it is to be an Alpha woman more than some Sorors I know haha. Just keep doing you and the rest will fall into place. Please don't let these negative comments get to you because in the end, they are just comments. Meaningless pixels on the screen that have no face, no soul, and no relevance. Anyways just watched the video and you ladies killed it! And if you're wondering which my chapter's is, it's the AKA: Beta Phi Yard Show 2014 and I have the #13 on my back!

but why? White people have endless spaces of their own why does she feel the need to join a black soroity?

That's A Great Question .. But Nowadays . Everything Is Becoming More Diverse .. Ex; Fashion Industry , Commercials , Schools , Neighborhoods Etc.. Get Out Of That "White Girl This... White Girl That.. " Mindset .. I Promise You It's Only Hurting You .

Princess TuTu I don't think it's hurting me. It just doesn't make sense to me, out of all the options she picks a black soroity. I understand putting different minorities into white dominated spaces like television and modeling, but black soroity's were made because whites weren't going to tolerate us. It's a sacred place for black girls to come together and idk why a white girl would want to put herself in that. What is it doing for her?

How about she can do whatever the hell she wants, stop making all black people seem ignorant, there's no race rules in joining a sorority just like blacks can join whites, whites can join blacks
