But properties in HK is just screwed. My friend in HK lives in a 1100 sft mid levels condo and it cost him S$2.5mil 10 yrs ago. I dont know how much it is today, probably much more. Your husband is down to earth 👍not to buy a condo until he can really afford one which is bigger and better than your current hdb. 👍. Well done.
Do you have any credible data to say most Singaporeans are not that rich?? Most people if not all buy their homes whether its HDB or private property from mortage loans. One must be able to afford the repayment to buy the homes. Based on their income. Who save the full amount of the price of the house before buying it in cash??? A million dollar condo is like the size of a two/three room HDB flat in Singapore. Go into a master bedroom and you jump right into the bed with no space to maneuver, walk. Kitchen is so small two person cannot walk side by side in it. There is no room for a big TV, so they have tiny TVS mounted on walls in the Kitchen and Toilet where one watch the news while doing their business. The condo however has a million dollar view of HK island and has super luxurious common facilities. Their concept is small home for living, big and impressive common facilities for entertainment and enjoyment. Thats why one seldom get invited into the homes of HKers and they entertain guests outside..........

Goodness, thats a really untidy condo unit 😅 . Sorry but just stating the truth. I think its probably becos its too small for the family so they have no space for proper storage. Items all in the living room, very messy. 🤭
The condo is really beautiful and in one of the choicest location in town at Mt Sophia. Obviously you dont know what it is like living with a family of four, having kids and all their stuff around. You think the real live in condos are like show flats LOL

如果過了HDB購買入息上限，都可以考慮EC，EC是半私樓，有點似香港夾心階層房間。買私樓另一好處是可以用作扺押品去借銀両，HDB是不能作扺押品的
可以看看公寓的設施! 公寓较贵的原因来之设施还有周围的物价，地点，等等。
因为在中区所以比较贵，但是也要看建筑的品质。
有些发展商会偷工减料，所以如果要买公寓，建议大家先为发展商做个背景调查！
新加坡人情願辛辛苦苦買一架200K plus 歐洲名車，都不想拿一大舊錢買私人樓！
